Chapter 77

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 77 .

RORISANG . 

Today has been something else , if it's not Sbani making me run after her , It's Lelo messing up the playroom and expecting me to clean it . It's Ontshiametse having a sudden attitude and talking to us however she wants , and now Kagoentle wants to move on . What's going on in this household people ?

“feel better ?” I nod wiping off my tears and he plants a kiss on my lips . 

“I'll talk to her .” he says . 

“okay .” I sigh jumping off the bed . 

“where are you going ?” he asks . 

“i have to make Lelo and Sbani supper ” I say . 

“I'll help you ..” he says jumping off the bed and following me out . We walk downstairs and head to the kitchen .

“what should i prepare for them ?” I ask .

“the mashed potatoes and beef stew .” I nod and he takes out their bowls . 

“Sbanesihle ! Mpumelelo !” I say shouting out , they come running into the kitchen . 

“in your high chairs now ..” Lwandile says , they jump into their chairs and he buckles them . 

“Mommy i want waffles and ice cream !” Mpumelelo says .

“that's for breakfast , not dinner .” I say .

“but mommy !!” he says screaming .

“I'll beat you up right now !” I say and he keeps quiet . 

“I'm gonna go crazy because of all you , i swear .” Lwandile dishes up for them and places their bowls infront of them . 

“say grace ..” they close their eyes and pray . 

“we thank you God , for the food we're about to receive , Amen .” they open their eyes and grab their mini spoons . 

“what do you want to eat ?” he says kissing my cheek . 

“i don't have an appetite .” I say . 

“family meeting ?” I nod lightly .

“I'll be back ..” he says walking out and heading upstairs . 

“mommy why are you crying ?” Sbani asks . 

“I'm not crying , I'm just a bit sad .” I say .

“who's making you sad ?” I shake my head . 

“no one , continue eating and I'll make you some mango smoothie when you're both done .”

“okay ..” Lelo says , Lwandile walks back in with Kagoentle and Ontshiametse . They sit on the high stools .

“i know you know why you're here .” Lwandile says .

“family meeting ..” Kagoentle says . 

“you guys have never direspected us or whatsoever hence we never thought of using any belts or shoes on you . You've always listened to us and you've always confided in us . We get that you're growing up but .. talking to us however you want isn't cool .” he says . 

“Ontshiametse this is directed to you .. also you Kago , growing up doesn't mean you can disrespect us . You're still kids in our eyes .” he says . 

“yes i know we shouldn't disrespect you but I'm not a child , I'm 16 and i should be allowed to do whatever i want . Kagoentle and Aliyah got into a relationship when they were 16 but you didn't stop them from dating . But you're refusing to allow me to date ?” im sweating , is she crazy ?? I'm about to beat up this child . 

“you're having an attitude because you want to date ?” Lwandile asks her . 

“i want to date , be free . I want to leave this house without you guys asking me where i went .” Kagoentle chuckles . 

“you've lost your marbles Ontshiametse , like do you even hear yourself ?” he asks .

“I hear myself , there's a boy that has been doing all he can to win my heart but i turn him because of you guys .” I don't know how .. but I just slapped this child . 

“are you crazy Ontshiametse ?” she glances at me with tears in her eyes . I slap her across the cheek again and this time she cries . 

“before you disgust me any further ! Get out of my face ! Ontshiametse get out of my face !” she gets up and rushes out . 

“i think she's under the influence of friends , her friends aren't setting a very good example for her .” Kagoentle says . 

“i don't know what's going on” Lwandile says .

“all this disrespectful behavior because of a boy ? a boy ? Ontshiametse is crazy , she's crazy . All she needs is a serious beating!” I say . 

“calm down ..” Lwandile says . 

“just .. (sighs) I'm really tired of all of this .” I say walking out and heading upstairs , I go into the bedroom and head to the balcony .. This is not my child please , the Ontshiametse I raised is not like this. God what's happening ?

LWANDILE . 

I heave a sigh , this is not good at all . 

“Ontshiametse is going crazy ..” Kagoentle says . 

“I'll be back ..” I say standing up and heading upstairs to her room , i knock on her door ... she's crying . 

“Metse ..” I say , I open the door and close it again . I sit on the bed . 

“lets talk ..” I say .

“why ? you all hate me . You don't want to see me happy” she says . 

“that's not true and you know it ..” I say brushing her hair . 

“mom hates me , she loves Kagoentle more than me .” I heave a sigh .

“You know that's not true , Rori loves the both of you equally . When you do wrong , she feels bad when you're acting like this because this is not how she raised you . All this because of a boy ?” 

“all my friends have boyfriends and I'm the only fool there .” she says . 

“dating is not an achievement , just because your friends have boyfriends doesn't mean they've accomplished something in life .” I say . 

“but Kagoentle dated when he was 16 also .” 

“Kagoentle had a long distance relationship , it wasn't even that serious up until he turned 18 .” I say.

“i just .. i have feelings for this boy ..” she says , lord .. help me out . 

“right now .. you want to date this boy because your friends are the ones influencing you angithi ?” she nods lightly .

“and not because you genuinely want to date him ?” she keeps quiet .

“you should choose friends that have a positive impact on you not friends that are gonna throw you in trouble .. look now , did you ever think your mother could slap you ?” she shakes her head . 

“not in the slightest .” 

“because of these new friends , something like this happened .” I say . 

“i don't want to shout at you , you're my princess however I'm gonna tell you when you're wrong and right now .. you're wrong . You're hurting your mother and setting a bad example for your siblings .” I say and she nods . 

“i hear you .” she says 

“now will you think about this and then gather up the courage to talk to your mother ?” she hesitates but eventually nods . 

“I'll try ..” I kiss her forehead . 

“i love you ?”

“always and forever ” she says and I smile .
