Chapter 27

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 27 . 

RORISANG MARTINS .

I'm here reading the Bible in the middle of the night , I'm so tired but a part of me just wanted to read the Bible today . I haven't talked to Lwandile , he's been calling but I'm just not in that space of wanting to talk to him . I need my own space and I just want to be in the lounge alone and read .

I take my phone glancing at Oratile's text , I have to go to the gym tomorrow . I've put on weight for the last few days and I think the gym will help me cool down also . I glance at Lwandile's status , oh this crazy man .. he has this picture of me on this status . Shame but that still won't make me happy , well .. I am happy but I don't want to show him . I just view the status and turn off my phone . 

I walk upstairs humming my mother's favourite gospel song , oh mommy I miss you . This life thing doesn't make sense anymore , the only thing making sense is the support I get from dad and my kids .. I still don't know about Lwandile .. after what happened yesterday , I'm trying to make sense of our relationship , I can't have "the man wearing pants in the relationship" in our relationship .

IN THE MORNING .. 

I put on my gym wear and also put on my nike air Jordans . I put on my cap and walk downstairs .. 

“good morning ..” I say , only Ontshiametse is the one awake . I think Kago is tired or something . 

“morning mom , how are you ?” 

“I'm okay , you ?” 

“I'm good .. Buti Lwandile called us today and he told us he'd be taking us to breakfast today .” I frown lightly .

“okay , I'm going to the gym , I'll see you when i come back , if I'll be back .” she nods . 

“okay mom .”

“i made breakfast when i woke up so my lady , help yourself since you're a foodie .” she laughs and nods . I grab my water bottle and walk out .. I run out of the gate and head to the gym .

I'm lost in my thoughts , should I even forgive him ? but he didn't talk nicely with me . I don't want a man that's gonna talk to me like I don't matter . That's how Siyabonga treated me and I don't want history repeating itself . 

A car honk goes off as I immediately run out of the way , I trip and fall down . I almost got chased ! The car stops besides me and a woman gets out . 

“oh my gosh , are you okay ?” I glance at her and nod. I stand up and dust myself . 

“I'm okay thanks ..” she glances at me and smiles a bit . 

“relationship problems ?” I raise my eyebrow .. well she is a beautiful woman . 

“no ..” i say that in whisper .

“its just a phase , let it pass .” I glance at her in confusion . How does she know ? or is she just guessing ?

“what's your name ?” she says asking me as I flip my hair back . 

“Rorisang ...” I say , she holds both my hands and squeezes them . 

“I'm Kgothatso , Kgothatso Ndlovu .” ohh she's gorgeous . She has this bright smile , her eyes are beautiful too . 

“okay , nice to meet you .” I say , why isn't she letting go of my hands though ? 

“you're so strong , I'm not even strong like you .” she says heaving a sigh . 

“she was just as strong as you are , your mother ..” i gasp lightly and yank my hands off her . 

What the fuck ?? I glance at her wrists , she has these red bracelets around them . One around her neck and a tattoo of a snake on her arm . 

“i have to go ..” she nods . 

“I have to take my kids to daycare so .. i have to go as well . It was great meeting you Rorisang .” she walks back to her car as I immediately run off . She's creepy , I don't want to lie . She's pretty but she's creepy ..

I reach the gym and walk in breathing heavily , I sit on the chair . 

“what's wrong with you ?” I shake my head grabbing the bottle of water from her hands and gulping it down . What does she mean when she says I'm strong just like my mother ?

“Rori ?” Oratile says . 

“I'm fine , i just came here running and I'm out of breath . I almost got hit by a car .” 

“ohh are you okay babe ?” she says sitting down . 

“I'm fine , don't worry . I managed to run from it .” she nods . 

“take a few minutes and breathe . We're working today .” I nod . 

“i need the workout ..” I say …

My body is having all sorts of shivers because of that woman ..
