CHAPTER : 49 . 

RORISANG . 

I don't know why I'm such a cry baby , what Kgothatso just said right now just made me cry . I must visit my mother , it's been too long now and I don't want her to feel like I've abandoned her .

“are you okay ?” she says and I nod , I grab the tissue and wipe off my tears . 

“I'm gonna be fine .” I say . 

“your mother says you're the most beautiful gift of her life and she doesn't regret giving birth to you .” I nod , that's what she always told me . 

“don't be too hard on yourself . You have kids , kids that rely on you . Put on your big girl panties and toughen up . You're a rare breed Rori , you have such a beautiful soul .” I smile lightly and nod .

“lastly , you don't have to think of "what will people say" if you want to give your man another chance okay ? this is your life and if you feel like forgiving him because you love him then no one can stop you .” she says with a smile on her face . 

“can you hug me ? I need a hug right now .” she smiles and nods . We share a very long hug .. 

“thank you , i really needed this .” I say . 

“you're welcome mammie , now please eat ” I chuckle , she goes to sit on her chair and I sigh . 

I really have alot to think about yeah ? for the sake of my own happiness and well being . 

“you're such a wise and honest person . I really misjudged you .” I say and she smiles , there is that smile . I don't know how she says I'm gorgeous when she's this gorgeous . 

“I've been told .” she says . 

“aren't you afraid ? ” she shakes her head . I think she knows what I am talking about .

“i thought i was just a healer who could see dead people and feel other people's pain . But after i got married to my husband , i got the vision and went to initiation school . So once i was done , i became a sangoma fully .” she says .

“i met my husband and we were forced to get married because thats what the ancestors wanted . He was very ill at that time and i was the only one who could heal him so we had to get married .” I'm shivering , these type of stuff scare me .

“my daughter was born dead , she didn't even open her eyes . The only time i saw her was when i got a vision . More on that , my grandmother passed away the same day i gave birth to my baby .” She says swallowing her tears . 

“I'm so sorry Kgothatso , no one deserves what happened to you. ” I say . 

“I've accepted and moved on . Its okay , i still see my baby even though its not in reality .” I hold her hand brushing it . 

“you've went through the most but you're still strong .” 

“i have a husband and kids that look up to me and rely on me . I can't be weakening right now .” I nod . 

Some people are strong out there shame , they've went through shit and they're out here being pretty and strong .

I walk inside , I'm so not in the mood of speaking to this man and I hope he doesn't annoy me . 

“back from your girlfriend's house ?” he says , i glance at him and frown . 

“not right now Msizi , not right now .” I say taking off my jacket and placing it on the couch . 

“why can't you find yourself a woman who doesn't have kids ? a woman who's actually younger than you ?” he says , I'm not about to be lectured by someone like Msizi .

“i can't , hence I'm with Rori .” I say . 

“you beat the shit out of her , do you think she'll forgive you just like that ?” 

“you don't know the real definition of love , you've been back from prison for a month but you haven't bothered to even take my mother out for coffee .” I say . 

“eii ! your mother and i are very old for those type of things !” I shake my head . 

“you're something else Msizi , i don't know how you're my dad .” he chuckles . 

“well you can't really change anything because i am your dad and you're my son .” 

“i wish i wasn't . ” I say untiring my sneakers . 

“I can find you a hot girl , just tell me your type and I'll find her .” I shake my head , lord what kind of a father is Msizi ? 

“will you find me a girl like Rori ?” he frowns and makes a face . 

“there you go again ..” he says . 

“exactly , there's no one like Rorisang so stop annoying me .” I say . 

“just so you know , if you and this girl get back together . You're gonna have to do that over my dead body !” 

“go ahead and kill yourself Msizi , I'm trying to correct my mistakes right now . Do kill yourself so we can eat some samp , i haven't heard that in a long time .” you'd swear he wants to kill me but I really don't give a shit . 

“I'll never be family with Matthew , never ! that man sent me to jail !” 

“suit yourself” I say walking upstairs . Maybe Rori was right , therapy is what I need . Msizi is acting as if he's been here all these years and he hasn't . He can't just come back and expect us to be a happy family . Now that's straight up bullshit
