Chapter 9

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”
CHAPTER : 09 .

LWANDILE HLONGWANE .

She just drove in her yard , her house is beautiful , she definitely worked hard and she has taste as well . She parks her car among other cars and turns the engine off .

“come inside , I'm gonna change” she says and I nod . We jump off the car and walk inside .. oh God , there are women who you can look up to for inspiration as a man Yaz ? This house is beyond beautiful and clearly, it was expensive .

“come .” I follow her as she leads me to her lounge , her wall is cream white and clear .. so beautiful . She has framed photos of her children on the other side of the wall , it's so beautiful .

“I'll be back , the code for my fridge is Martins456 .” she runs upstairs and I sit down scanning the entire house . I wish to buy my mother a house like this one day , just give me time and I promise I'll get there . I owe that woman , she's the reason I'm the man I am today .

I stand up heading to the kitchen , It's more than beautiful too , Rori has taste . Don't ask me why I call her Rori , it just feels right when I call her Rori . I open the fridge as she told me and take out a bottle of water , I walk back to the lounge and sit down .

After a while , she comes downstairs in her white oversized nike tee and her oversized bum short . The body .. the body ! she tied her hair in a low bun ..

“I'm ready , lets go”
“okay ..”

We walk out of the house and she walks to the Mercedes Benz , I think .

“let me drive this one ” she says unlocking the door .

We jump in and she starts the car , she drives off ..

“do you spray your perfume in here ?” she glances at me then back at the way .
“i don't .”
“even the other car is filled with this perfume .” i say , not that I don't like the way it smells . It actually smells amazing .
“maybe the cars are used to my scent .” she says smiling .
“hmm..” I might get used to your scent because woman , you smell heavenly !

She continues driving till she reaches her kids'school . She drives in and parks the car among the other cars . We jump off the car ..

“the field is at the back , let me just fix my hair .” she says glancing at herself through the window of the car .
“your hair looks fine to me .” I say .
“nah , i don't like this ponytail , i want to let it loose” I sigh, i swear I'll never understand women .

She unfasten the ponytail ..

“you must give me your cap now .” I raise my eyebrow glancing at her .
“what ?” she glances at me .
“your cap , give it to me .”
“wait ... are you serious ?”
“Lwandile ..”

I sigh and take off my cap , I give it to her as she giggles and puts it on .. not gonna lie , it suits her beautifully .

“thank you” she says smiling .
“hmm ..”
“lets go ..”

We walk to the field , it's so packed here .

“oh i can't see my boy ..” she says looking around . I spot him in the field running .

“i think that's him .” I say pointing at him .
“oh yeah , let's go.”

We walk towards his direction as he spots us and immediately runs towards our direction .. first of all , this boy is tall .. tall and handsome .. definitely has some of Rori's genes in him .

“you came ..” he says kissing her cheek .
“you're sweating and you have the nerve to kiss me ?” she says punching him lightly .
“I'm sorry , okay !” he glances at me then at Rori again .
“you didn't tell me buti Lwandile would be coming mother !” Rori rolls her eyes.
“hmm , he's here . You can see that ..” he glances at me .
“hello , I'm actually glad you're here because now .. my mother won't be lonely .”
“hey ..” I say , I honestly don't know what to say .
“so are you two finally a couple ? Is that why you're here together ?” I glance at Rori who frowns .
“what couple ? Stop being crazy Kago , its not funny . You know..”
“you must not hurt my mother now , she's the queen of my heart .” I find myself chuckling .. he's so overprotective of his mother , it's cute .
“take your card and go play Kago , you're busy talking alot here .”
“yes yes , I'll go play .. you go sit down .. ”
“good luck ..” I say glancing at him .
“thank you , i need the luck , its my first time playing.” he says taking a deep breath .
“i think you're gonna do great , you're giving me good vibes .”
“really ? Now that you said that .. i think i might pull this off ”
“you must not put yourself down ..” he nods and smiles . He has Rori's smile .
“okay okay , go now .. you're starting .”

He turns back and turns again ..

“wish me luck ..”

Rorisang kisses his forehead .

“you know you're capable of doing anything right ? you're a star my boy , you're gonna do great in the field . Make mama and Ontshiametse proud yeah ?”
“thank you , i love you ” he says kissing her cheek and heaving a sigh .
“Buti Lwandile , i want you to cheer for me when i score , if i even score .. deal ?”
“deal , you do your thing .”

He turns back and runs off into the field .

“and Siyabonga doesn't want to experince such milestones with his own son , yeah neh .. lets go” I glance at her .
“did you say something ?” she shakes her head and smiles.
