CHAPTER : 69 .

— WEEKS LATER .

“right , you're officially 37 weeks pregnant.” she says squealing in excitement . 

“you have a few days left till you finally meet your baby girl .” she says , I'm here with Kagoentle and Ontshiametse and of course , my bestie . they offered to come since Lwandile had to go do something with his parents but he did make me promise that I'll come with the scans . 

“is that her ? oh my God ..” they glance at the screen amazed . 

“oh i see her little legs .. oh my goshh this is so cute .” Ontshiametse says . 

“can i get the scans ?” the doctor nods .

“definitely , I'm gonna need you to please prepare the baby's stuff because anything might happen okay ?” I nod , atleast the nursery is ready .

“right .. you're looking very gorgeous mommy to be .” I sit up and wipe the gel off my belly , I pull down my sweater . Kgothatso glances at me with a smile. 

“are you ready though ?” I sigh . 

“its not the first time so .. i am ready .” I say . 

“i can't wait ..” so I agreed that the last part of Lwandile's music video becomes the birth of our baby . I hope this works but I don't want to see my p`ssy on screen . I'll kill him .. Kgothatso helps me jump off the bed and I sigh .

“I'm getting heavier by the day .” I say and she laughs .

“i just love your glow ” she says .

“here are the pictures .” The doctor says handing me the scans .

“thank you ..” I say . 

“mommy can we see them ?” I nod and hand the scans over to them , I think they're obsessed .

“ohh she's so tiny ! Now imagine when she's here . Oh i can't wait any longer ..” 

“lets go ..” Kgothatso says as we walk out .

“so you're gonna be taken a video of in the delivery room ?” I nod .

“yep ..”

“ohh this is so exciting . What the hell ? like .. she's gonna be here in less than a week ?? oh wow .” she's so excited .

“you must be with me in the delivery room , you and Lwandile .” I say . 

“where else would i be ? Outside ? Oh hello no baby . I want to be in the room with you ” she says wrapping her arm around my neck ..

“auntie , will you buy us ice cream ?” 

“there comes trouble ..” she says glancing at Ontshiametse who's smiling widely at her . 

“even if you smile my girl , I won't . I'll buy you chocolates instead . You want to kill me when you're period pains mess with you ?” we laugh , Ontshiametse is in her "don't talk to me when I'm on my period" Era .. the attitude ? you'll cry . So we leave her alone when she's experiencing such to avoid being shouted at . We reach the car and jump in , Kgothatso starts the car and drives off .

“are you hungry ?” I nod lightly ..

“I just want the pineapple juice and mozarella sticks .” I say and she nods .

We just arrived at home , got the food and everything . We jump off the car and walk inside ..

“SURPRISE !” everyone screams as I jump out of fear. I look at them shocked . What's happening ?

“the family wanted to come over and see you for like the last time since after you've given birth , some people will not be able to come .” Kgothatso says . 

“you guys ..” i say with tears in my eyes . Lwandile knew and he didn't tell me ? Mx betrayer this one . 

“its so beautiful in here ..” I say glancing at the pink and white balloons . 

“how did the doctor's appointment go ?” my dad's wife asks .

“it went really well , she's doing good . Because I've been maintaining a healthy diet .” I say and she nods .

“we have some scans !” Kagoentle says . 

“let me see ..” Lwandile says grabbing the scans from Kago . 

“she's grown alot more than last time .” His dad says . 

“hmm ...” Lwandile says keeping his focus on the scans .

“haibo ? Give the lady of the moment her gifts now . You know she didn't want a baby shower so lets just pretend as if we're having a baby shower .” Kgothatso says . 

“and i wonder where my child got you .. you talk alot .” my dad says and we laugh . 

“haa ? She talks just as much , its just that she's a little shy now .” she says . 

“have you prepared the baby's stuff ?” Lwandile's mother asks . 

“the nursery is ready , we're just gonna pack the bag .” I say and she nods .

“it may be possible that you go into labout earlier than expected so we have to be ready .” I nod . 

“there's literally a few days left so its just a matter of days now .” Kgothatso says .

“is she in good health ?” Lwandile asks and I nod . 

“she's fine , those fruit salads I've been really helped .” I say and he nods . I take the apple juice and pour for myself in a glass . 

“have you thought of names ?” I glance at Lwandile , we didn't even talk about names and the baby is gonna be here in a few days . 

“we haven't ..” he responds . 

“well i have a couple of names that i think would be fit for the baby , after all .. I'm the one that's naming the baby right ?” his mother says as I frown lightly , name who ? you're the one that's what ? hold up .. I think we have a problem here.
