“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 36 . 

RORISANG .

I'm in my office , Lwandile is playing very far from me . I miss him but I'm just a bit irritated .. people are getting on my nerves . 

My door opens and Dad walks in , okay ? But he never comes on Mondays ? So what's going on today?

“dad ?” 

“princess ..” 

He sits down and sighs . 

“how are you ?” he says . 

“I'm okay , you never come on Mondays . This is a surprise .” I say . 

“i just missed my little princess , i thought of coming to see you .” he says . 

“ohh thank you , I'm still fine .. I'm just preparing Ontshiametse and Kago's stuff for next year .” I say . 

“Jane tells me you and Hlongwane are publicly dating ?” I press my lips together . 

“it wasn't planned , Jane and Vanessa are constantly trying to hit on Lwandile and he has told them multiple times that he's in a relationship but they're refusing to understand .”

“so you thought by informing the stuff that you two are in a relationship would make things easier ?” I shrug . 

“its best they know .” I say . 

“you don't mix pleasure with business Rorisang , you're letting your jealousy get in the way .” he says . 

“daddy , Lwandile and i aren't mixing business with pleasure .” I say . 

“now .. Vanessa tells me you've fired her , because of Lwandile ?” 

“i fired her because she was flirting with a colleague during work hours .” I say . 

“their boss is in a relationship with a colleague , what the fuck are you talking about Rorisang ?” i sigh . 

“but i don't go to Lwandile's office and have sex with him in there , we know this is a workplace and we should remain as colleagues . Besides I'm his boss ..” I say , I lied because my man once ate me in the very same office space . 

“i wish you two worked separately .” he says . 

“well that's not possible because he's here now and he's not going anywhere .” I say . 

“don't give him special treatment just because he's your man .”

“we don't roll like that , relax .” I say and he nods .

“you sure do look happy , he must be doing a good job .” he says . 

“he is , i don't take him for granted . He got here and changed the entire narrative about men always having to provide for women .”  

“I'm gonna go to the 4th floor and check on some things ..” he says and I nod .

“okay daddy ..”

He stands up and walks out , I heave a sigh sitting back .

Lwandile walks into my office with two coffees as I roll my eyes . 

“still upset ?” he says placing the coffees on the table and walking to my side . 

“can i help you with anything ?” I ask . 

“babe come on ..”

“I'm tired Lwandile , you didn't let me sleep last night and i come across shit today morning .” he pulls me up as I sigh .

“I'm sorry for letting Vanessa do shit but I'm not gonna apologize for making love to you all night .” he says planting a kiss on my lips .  

“I'm so irritated goshh ..” I say wrapping my arms around his neck .

“there's been a lot happening .” he says flipping my hair to the side . 

“i hope the weekend getaway helps .” I say and he nods .

“you need a serious relaxing weekend . I saw your dad ..” I sigh . 

“i wonder if Vanessa and Jane get their salary from my dad , they constantly report to him and that's getting on my nerves . I own 98% of this company , my dad own only 2% and besides , he's a silent partner . Why do they keep showing me that they are really fools and i just hired them because they were hungry and hopeless ?” I say . 

“relax .. you've been fighting baby .” I sigh ..

He plants another kiss on my lips as I smile , the only person that makes sense right now . The door opens ..

“can't anyone k...” I freeze . Whaaa ? what is he doing here ? Why is he holding a boque of flowers ? oh jesus christ this is not the time please .. he glances at Lwandile then me , I'm shaking . 

“hey...” he says . Lwandile glances at me ..

“what's happening ?” 

“I...I don't know ..” I say shaking with my voice trembling .

“Rorisang , i made an appointment and you said you'd be busy , is this what you're busy with ?” he says . I close my eyes , not right now please lord . I'm not ready . 

“can Rori help you with anything ?” 

My phone rings .. Lwandile glances at it and takes it .

“Oratile ..” he hands me the phone and I pick it up . He takes it again placing it on speaker . 

“Lwandile ..” 

“you can't listen to one person while the other is here . So better let her speak ..” 

“Oratile ..” I say shaking . 

“yoh you must stop ignoring my calls Rorisang ! I didn't ask you to let Chris do whatever you guys did in the bathroom that day ! You cheated on Lwandile not me so why are you ignoring me ?” 

There it is .. 

“ohh so you're the one that's inlove with Rori ? Her lowclass boyfriend ?” this is not the way it was supoosed to be , I was supoosed to tell Lwandile by myself ! 

Lwandile pushes me off slowly as I hit the wall , he's not even looking at me . What have I done ? I should've told him the very same day !
