Chapter 12

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”
CHAPTER : 12 .

RORISANG MARTINS .

I'm driving to work , I'm wearing my long off shoulder tight grey dress that looks perfect on me . I'm wearing it with white socks and white airforces . I let my hair loose today and oh yes .. I look like the beautiful tswana and colored woman I am .

I park my car in my reserved spot and jump off .. I walk inside as Jane glanced at me with a smirk .

“morning ..” I say .
“good morning Boss , you look beautiful today.” she says .
“thank you .. do i have any messages ?” she shakes her head .
“nop” I nod and walk to my office , I have to prepare to spend the rest of the day with Lwandile in his office . I don't even know how I'm gonna cope , it's not easy facing the person you love yet you don't know how tell them .

I grab the files and walk to his office , I knock .

“come in .” he says .. I open the door as his eyes meet mine . We're going casual today I see , I can tell by the white hoddie he has on .

“hey” he says smiling .
“hello” I walk towards his direction and heave a sigh .
“you look beautiful ..” he says , you look like a snack Mr Hlongwane .
“thank you , you also look good. ” he smiles and nods.
“so are you ready to work ?” I ask .
“I'm ready , are you ready ?”
“I've always been ready .” I say sitting besides him .
“we should start with this file ..”

He says grabbing the first file , it's gonna be a very long day .

5 Hours Later ..

I'm trying not to fall asleep , it's 13h00pm and we've been working on balancing these files ever since . Lwandile doesn't get tired , I'm sitting down on the floor with documents spread all over . He's sitting by the couch focusing on the document . Ask me why he looks sexy right now ? because he's a snack !

“why are you staring at me ?” he says glancing at me
“no reason , I'm just tired . ” I say .
“you sure look tired ..”
“can we get food ? I'm starving right now .” I say sighing .
“uhm ...”
“I'll order and pay , don't worry . Please pass me my phone .” he nods lightly and passes my phone over to me . I order some Mc'D burgers and fries .
“which beverage ?” I ask .
“coke is fine ..” I nod and continue ordering . Once I pay I turn my phone off and sit back .
“my body legit feels numb ..”
“you've been sitting there for a few hours , its bound to feel numb .”
“please come and help me stand up , I'm not able to get up .”

I've even taken off my shoes , eh we've been working . But I think we're almost done . He stands up and walks towards my direction . I throw my hands in the air and he holds them helping me up .

“goshh ..” I say standing up straight as he lets go of my hands .
“rest for a few minutes ..” he says .
“i just need to eat then I'll be fine , i don't have any energy left .”

He nods and traces his eyes down to my boobs , what is he looking at ?

“your .. (clears throat)your thingie is showing ..” he says scratching his head .
“huh ?”
“your nipple ..” I pop my eyes out and glance at myself . Ohh how stupid am I ??

I quickly turn around and pull the dress up properly .. goshh why do I feel so embarrassed ?

“I'm sorry .. i really didn't see .”
“its fine , not a big deal .” I sigh and turn back .
“i feel so bad actually .” he chuckles .
“don't , its yours after all .” he says smirking as I roll my eyes .
“can i ask you something ?” he nods .
“what is it ?” he says raising his eyebrow .

I heave a sigh and take a deep breath .. I'm actually quite braver than I thought . What the fuck am I doing ?

“please step closer ..” he stares at me .
“what ?”
“i didn't stutter Lwandile ..” my heart is beating out of my chest and I actually have the guts to say this ?

He steps closer as I hit the wall ..

“you're shaking ..” I am ? oh I really am shaking ?
“please step even more closer ..” it took a second , his body is now pressed against mine . I swallow a huge lump down my throat as I raise my head to look at him . He's so tall ..
“what do you want to say ?” he asks staring right into my eyes .
“alot ..” I respond .
“i also have a lot to say to you ..”
“how do you feel about dating a woman who's older than you ?”

He locks me in between of his huge arms .. I feel so small .

“rephrase the question ..” I'm confused , what does he mean that I should rephrase that question ?
“what do you mean ?” I ask .
“how do i feel about dating you considering that you're a year older ..”

My heart jumps .

“did you mean it like that Rori ?” he asks .
“kinda ..”
“and I'm guessing I'm supposed to answer that ?” I nod and bite my lower lip . My kneels are failing me , they're literally failing me .
“you're supposed to answer that ..” where the hell did my voice go ?
“i don't have an issue ..”

I close my eyes as he grabs my waist .

“why would i have an issue ?”
“society seems to have an issue .”
“I'm not society , I'm Lwandile .” he says , my insides are turning , in a good way .
“but ..”
“i see a masterpiece when i look at you .” he says , his eyes fixed on me .
“I'm not art ..” I say .
“you're a beautiful piece of art .”

I'm trembling , I'm about to fall down .

“please open your eyes ..” I shake my head .
“your eyes are captivating .”
“isn't it how its supoosed to be ?”

I open my eyes , he's staring right in my eyes . His eyes are the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen .

“i want to stare at you like this forever , you're a perfect view .” he says and bites his lower lip .
“i love you .” I say , he stares at me . Not blinking , just his eyes getting a bit teary . Oh they're beautiful !
“what ?” he asks .
“i love you Lwandile .” I think he's in disbelief , it's like he just went into complete shock mode .

He smashes his lips onto mine as butterflies fill my stomach , my heart beating fast . Is this really happening ? Jesus , is it really happening ? I'm being lifted up and pinned against the wall . Wait , I'm responding , I wrap my arms around his neck ..

“oh Rori ..” he says whispering , his voice husky with emotion . I'm about to cry ..
“Lwa ..” I say in between of the kiss . I don't know how to describe it .. he's deepening the kiss , my heart is soaring .
“Mr Hlongwane ..” Jane says knocking on the door as we immediately break the kiss . I stand there for a while , what just happened ?
“are you back to your senses ?” he says glancing at me with a smirk .
“don't do that ..” I say walking to the couch and sitting down . He walks to the door and opens up .. I can feel Jane's eyes on me but I'm pretending to be focusing on the documents .
“oh .. you two are still working ??” she says , why is there something offish about her voice though ??
“yes , do you need something ?” he asks .
“no .. thank you .” she walks off as he closes the door again and sighs . Why am I suddenly feeling shy ? I'm scared to look at him now .

He pulls me up and wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap mine around his neck .

“what did you say again ?” no I'm not gonna say it again .
“you heard me .”
“i didn't , hence i want you to tell me again .” i shake my head .
“i have nothing to tell you ..” I say smiling and glancing at him .
“Rori ..”
“i said i love you .” I say heaving a sigh .
“i think that's all i needed to hear ..”

I can't even talk anymore , I'm being kissed left , right and center .
