Chapter 31

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 31 . 

RORISANG MARTINS .

SUNDAY . 

We're here driving to Soweto , it's church today and once it's over , we'll be going to my mother inlaw's house for a Sunday lunch . Once we arrive , I park the car and jump off the car with my kids . 

“there's grandmother and Lelo!” they say walking over to them as I follow . They're so happy .. 

“oh you look like a beautiful young lady !” she says hugging Ontshiametse .

“and you look like a handsome young man .” Kagoentle chuckles hugging her .

“how are you ?” Kagoentle says as they hug . 

“nothing can keep me down ..” she says , she glances at me and smiles . 

“hey baby ..” she says side hugging me . 

“hello mama ..” I kiss her forehead and she smiles . I missed her so much and I'm getting used to her , she's such an amazing woman . She raised a great and wonderful man shame , moreover she raised a man that gives me the best orgasms .  

“you look beautiful .” she says and I smile . 

“you're even more beautiful .” I pull out of the hug and Lelo stands infront of me . He holds up his arms . 

“do you want me to pick you up ?” he nods , I pick him up and he giggles . 

“lets go inside , Thando and Londiwe are inside .” she says . 

“where's dad ?” Kagoentle asks as mama glances at him with a smile . 

“he's inside but you know he's the pianist and singer . He won't be able to sit with us ..” he nods . 

“lets go inside .” we walk inside , it already started , everyone is sitting down . We walk to the front and sit down besides Thando and Londiwe . 

“hello !” she says whispering .

“hey baby .” we hold hands as I glance at Londiwe . 

“aunt Thando , hey ..” Ontshiametse says . I glance at Lelo who's staring at me . 

“why are you staring at me ?” 

“ubaba uthe umuhle , kakhulu futhi ..” I smile , oh that's so adorable guys . 

“thank you cutie .” I say kissing his cheek and he chuckles . I swear Londiwe is about to burst .. 

I move my eyes to the front listening to the pastor attentively . Oh nothing can separate me from God , I've asked for forgiveness for betraying my love . I can't bring myself to even tell him what I did because I know it's not gonna end well . 

Psalms 150:1-3

[1]Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

[2]Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

[3]Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

I praise "Amen" because those were powerful verses . They somehow spoke to me , I wish I could be here forever . The church choir walks out and of course , with my man . 

He glances at me and winks as I smile . He sits down infront of the piano . 

“is it okay if i take a video mama ?” Kagoentle asks . 

“you can take a video .” I say and face forward . 

“baba !” Lelo exclaims and glances at me . 

“ngu'baba wami loh !” he says and I nod . 

“that's your father baby boy .” 

The piano starts playing and a flashback of the first time I met him replays , how my heart skipped a beat upon hearing his angelic voice . This is the man I cheated on , what's wrong with me lord ? Mama ? I'm sure you're disappointed in me .  

He sings so beautifully , i would listen to him all day because he's worth it . The choir follows , oh lord I'm crying . I'm crying .. 

“ukhalelani ?” Lelo says as they all glance at me.

“no reason ..”

“he has a voice of an angel ..” his mother says and I nod . 

“beyond beautiful .” I say , and I'm going to ruin this beautiful thing going on . 

He finishes singing , he continues to surprise me . Everyone is this church is shedding tears sana , I wish my mother was here to actually witness how beautiful God's creations can be . Lwandile is nothing more than a great guy and I'm out here hurting him .

After another hour , the church service finishes . I'm surprised as to why he didn't come and sit with us since he was done . We get up from our chairs .

“hey let's go , he'll find us outside .” I pick up Lelo who's sleeping . Two guys step inside holding a covered big portrait , they walk up to the stage and place the portrait in the middle . 

“is something happening ?” Londiwe asks . 

Lwandile walks in .. 

“brother , what's going on ?” he glances at me and smiles , okay ? 

“you guys must sit down and wait for me . I'm almost finished .” he says holding Kagoentle and Ontshiametse's hands . They walk from us and head backstage .

“haibo , what's happening with Lwandile now ?” I sigh and sit back down as they sit also. I glance at Kagoentle and Ontshiametse who are approaching me with a boque of flowers and boque of roses . 

“yeii , who are those flowers for ?” his mother asks . 

“for the most beautiful piece of art .” I glance at them confused , they stand infront of me as Thando takes Lelo from me . 

They hand the flowers and roses over to me , I'm literally holding two boque of roses and flowers right now . I'm about to cry .. 

“hey ..” Kagoentle says kissing my forehead . 

“come ..” Ontshiametse says making me stand up .

“let's go , come ..” 

We walk up the stage , the little people that are in the church actually sit back down . Lwandile walks out and sits by the piano .. 

I'm standing infront of the portrait ..

“what's going on ?” I say whispering as the two of them step away from me and stand behind the portrait . Lwandile glances at me ..

“I love you and I appreciate you so much .” he says starting to play the piano , he starts singing ..

“In this very church , we met .

Now I'm crying because he loves me this much but I did shit . I glance at the portrait my babies just uncovered , THAT'S ME !
