Chapter 35

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 35 . 

I'm making breakfast for Lelo , Lwandile and the kids have already left so it's just me and Lelo . I'm gonna take him home once he's done eating so I can come back and go to work . I've already showered , I haven't done my makeup and it takes forever to do my makeup so I guess I'm going natural today and besides , my face is glowing like no one's business . 

“do you want bacon and cheese ?” he nods and looks around . I dish up for him and place his plates infront of him .

“ngyabonga .” he says and I nod . 

“you're welcome .” he's so sweet , I don't even want to lie at this point . 

“I'm gonna go upstairs and put on my sneakers okay ? finish up eating . ” he nods and I walk upstairs . I put on my sneakers , brush my hair and wear Lwandile's hoddie . Ai , I no longer want my hoddies mna . I want to wear Lwandile's hoddies only . 

Anyways , I walk downstairs and find him still eating . I sit down scrolling down my phone , shame Oratile has been calling me with different numbers . I don't want to talk to her . I really don't , I feel bad enough . 

“I'm finished eating now .” I raise my head and glance at him . 

“take the water bottle and lets go .” I'll buy Kago another one , let me let Lelo take this one . He gets up from his chair and we walk out of the house , I unlock my car and he jumps in . I help him fasten his seatbelt and close the door . I then walk to my driver's door and jump in . I start the engine and drive off .

After an hour or so , I reach Soweto and park my car infront of their gate , I jump off and open the door for him as well . He's opening his arms so he's expecting me to pick him up . I pick him up and we walk inside . 

“knock knock ..” she smiles seeing us . 

“oh i thought this big boy won't be returning !” she says standing up and taking Lelo from my arms. 

“how are you baby ?” she says asking me . 

“haa , I'm okay . I can't complain and i wish i could stay but i really can't . I'm late for work ...” i say . 

“okay my love , is everyone okay though ?” I nod .

“everyone is perfectly fine . We're gonna have a really busy week so Lelo will visit us on Saturday .” I say . 

“okay my love .” she says , I glance at Lelo who looks like he's about to cry . 

“don't cry ..” I say .

“ungahambe ..” he says breaking my heart .

“I'll come and fetch you soon okay ? This time you and Ontshiametse and Kago will go into the swimming pool and swim okay ?” he nods slowly . I kiss his cheek and he giggles . 

“love you ..” I say and he nods .

“ma , let me go .” I say running out and heading to the car . I jump in and drive off ..

I arrive at work and park my car , I'm not even wearing any formal clothes , ai it's cold . They'll have to forgive me . I run inside as Jane glances at me . 

“good morning Jane .” she fakes a smile and nods . I walk to my office and place my handbag . I sit back heaving a sigh . 

“ma'am ..” I glance at her .

“yes Jane ?”

“Chris Miller asked for a meeting .” my heart starts beating fast , no what does he want ? 

“I'm not available for the entire day , I'll be very busy .” I say opening my laptop ..

“he said it's urgent .” I sigh . 

“tell Mr Miller i am not available for the rest of the week .” she raises her eyebrow . 

“but ma'am ..” 

“Jane , are you deaf ?” she walks out . I've really gotten myself in deep shit , what the hell ? 

I get up from my chair and walk to Lwandile's office , i just barge in and find Vanessa sitting ontop of his table . He glances at me and clears his throat ..

“babe ..” he says , Vanessa turns back and glances at me . She immediately stands up .. 

“babe ??” 

“are you not on duty Vanessa ? What are you doing in my man's office ?” she widens her eyes . 

“man ?” 

“you're fired ..” 

“Rori ..” Lwandile says . 

“you're condoning her reckless behaviour , i won't put up with it .” I say . 

“Vanessa leave please” she walks towards me . 

“you're fired , don't give me that look .” I say opening the door for her and pushing her out . I close the door and glance at Lwandile . 

“come ..” I stand there ..

“what are you doing ?” he raises his eyebrow .

“what am i doing with what ?”

“what was Vanessa doing in your office Lwandile don't make me go crazy !” 

“why are you screaming ? she was doing what she does best even though i made it clear that I'm not interested and I'm in a relationship with you .” 

“so you let her sit ontop of your desk ? ” I say . 

“i really don't understand why you're angry , you know Vanessa's motives .” he says focusing back on his laptop . 

“I'm going to my office ..” I say walking out and closing the door . I'm angry at myself , not him . I feel so guilty , he doesn't even condone another woman's behavior but here I opened my legs for another man . Lwandile doesn't deserve me , he deserves someone who loves him fully .
