Chapter 22

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”
CHAPTER : 22 .

RORISANG MARTINS .

He plants a kiss on my cheek as I open my eyes , eh I've been sleeping , I'm sure it's 12h00pm right now .

“please let me sleep Lwandile , I'm tired .” I say yanking his hand off my cheek .
“you have to come and eat breakfast with everyone , mom said i must wake you up .” I sigh lightly .
“I'm so tired ..” I say sitting up and yawning .
“morning sleeping beauty .” I roll my eyes .
“my body is achy , i deserve a massage .”
“you know where a massage is gonna lead you to ., right ?” I roll my eyes again .
“mxm ..”

I get off the bed and stretch out my arms , he plants a kiss on my forehead .

“there is a sealed toothbrush in the bathroom with a face cloth and the soap i think you use .. just cleanse your face .” I nod lightly .
“where are my kids ?”
“they went to town with Thando but they'll be back , I'm sorry they missed school ”
“its okay , they aren't doing much . ” I say and he nods .
“you'll come ? ”
“yeah I'll come ..”

He walks out and I walk out also , the bathroom is just by the passage , I walk in and take the toothbrush preparing to brush my teeth .

Once I finish brushing my teeth , I cleanse my face and brush my hair . I walk out and head to the dining room . Lwandile's mother's house isn't like .. a small house , it's a 4 bedroom house . It's nice and fit enough . I like it ..

“ah .. there she is .. good morning sweetheart , come sit here .”

I glance at the Londiwe woman , I can tell it's her because she has bruises on her face .

“hello .” she says , hello my foot . Do I look like I want to be greeted by you ?

“good morning ..” I sit besides Lwandile .
“are you going to work ?” he nods .
“i am ..”
“I'm tired , i can't . ” he nods again .
“you can stay , I'll report for you .” I nod .
“thank you ..”
“how did you sleep ? Lwandile didn't tell me you were coming , i would've prepared new bed sheets for you .” His mother says .
“i slept well thank you , there wasn't gonna be a need . I slept well ..” I respond and she smiles .
“Londiwe do you see my daughter inlaw ?” This Londiwe woman smiles and nods .
“she's gorgeous ..” she says glancing at me . I'm finding it hard to like you , what do you mean you were once my man's girl ?
“we prepared oats , toast and eggs . Eh .. i really tried . Its the first time you're sleeping in my house .” the effort matters , she's so sweet . She reminds me of my own mother .
“thank you ..” I glance at Lwandile .
“should i dish up for you ?” I nod lightly .
“okay ..”

A little boy runs in giggling holding ice cream in his hand , is that ??

“baba ! They bought me ice cream !” he's a duplicate . He literally looks like Lwandile ..
“oh is it ??” he nods happily , won't lie .. he has such a cute smile .

My kids walk in with the biggest smiles on their faces with Thando .

“morning ..” Ontshiametse says kissing my cheek .
“morning my love ..” I respond .
“hey mom ..” he says sitting down .
“morning baby ..” I say .
“oh mommy , Soweto is the coolest ! I had this kota and it was so good !” Ontshiametse says sitting down , she's so loud .
“hehh this girl of yours talks yezwa ? she doesn't keep quiet ” Thando says sitting down as well . I glance at Mpumelelo who's staring at me .. I don't even know what to say , let me just look away .

I take the plate from Lwandile and start eating .

“ohh Aunt Thando is the coolest !” Ontshiametse says .
“you can't be that loud in people's homes .” Kagoentle says as I chuckle .
“leave me alone .. I'm talking , you can talk if you want to as well .” She replies as Mpumelelo laughs .
“he's laughing at you .” Kago says .
“i think he's laughing at you .”
“you guys have to calm down a bit ..” I say .
“they truly are siblings , fighting like this ? seems like Lwandile and Thando .”

I glance at Londiwe , she's been staring at me yoh . Does she wanna say something cause if she wants to then she can say it .

“do you want to say something ?” I say looking at her.
“I'm just admiring how beautiful you look , i love your nails and hair .”
“its a bit uncomfortable considering that I'm eating .” I say and she nods .
“my apologies .”
“well .. i have to go ..” I glance at him as he stands up .
“take the car , we'll leave when you return .” he nods lightly .
“okay ..” he kisses my forehead as Thando giggles .
“We're single ! Don't do us like that please !” she says half screaming .
“first of all , I'll never allow you to date until you're 25 so don't even ..” We laugh , he walks over to Mpumelelo and kisses his cheek , oh he has dimples .. he's so cute . He then fist bumps Kagoentle and side hugs Ontshiametse .
“byee ..”

He walks out ..

“who are you ??” it took a while before realizing that Mpumelelo is talking to me .
“huh ?”
“who are you ?” he asks again .
“Rorisang ..” I say as he smiles .
“okay ! I'm Lelo !” I nod and smile a bit , the adorable little voice he has is cute shame .
“okay Lelo nice to meet you ..”
“mommy you didn't tell us Buti Lwandile had a child .” I clear my throat .
“he only told me like at 2h00am in the morning .” I glance at his mother .
“your son is so dramatic .” she laughs .
“i know him like that .”
“but atleast he was honest ..” I say glancing at Londiwe .
“your life and your son's life actually matters more than anything so getting out of that toxic environment was a good decision .” she frowns lightly , keng girl ? you thought my man wouldn't tell me what's up ? that's not possible .
“hmm .” she says .

No but there's something I'm forgetting here , oh ! I forgot to tell you guys that the painting Lwandile did is actually on the wall in his bedroom right now . It's GORGEOUS ! I can't stop staring at it , I even took a picture ! he's such a talented man , a whole artist sana .
