Chapter 41

“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 41 .

LWANDILE . 

I would be lying if I said I don't feel bad for everything that has happened with Rori , my kids have been updating me on how she's doing and it's like she gets worse everyday . I really messed up and I don't know how to fix my mess . 

I'm here sitting in the car , with the door open . I'm just watching Ontshiametse play netball while Kagoentle is by the field playing soccer . They really have a thing for sport and they nail it . So here's the thing , Londiwe moved out suddenly and we don't know where she went .. she doesn't even call to check up on Lelo but I think it's for the best . My son is just fine without her . 

Kagoentle runs towards the car .. 

“Dad ...” he says breathing heavily and getting in from the other side . 

“yes boy ?” I respond , he takes his backpack from the back . 

“we forgot to give you this gift , it's from me and your daughter for Father's day .” I smile , oh really now ?

“is it ?” he nods and takes out a paper bag , cute . 

“here you go .. Mom only gave us a few thousands to do this .” I nod .

“the thought matters , I've never in my life received a father's day gift , Lelo is still trying to learn what the day is about .” 

“don't worry , we are going to gift you keh thina . You've been our dad and best friends for the past few weeks .” he says , I brush his hair messing it up . 

“thank you though , i don't even know what to say but i appreciate the both of you .” I say and he nods .

“you're welcome .” he says . 

“go play now ..” I say . 

“I'm gonna play the last round then I'll be right here with you okay ? ” I nod and he runs off .. I glance at Ontshiametse who looks like she's uncomfortable in some way . Is she okay ? she looks around then at the car , she runs towards my direction but slows down pressing her thighs together . 

“what's wrong ?” I say . 

“i don't know ... something is wrong .” I raise my eyebrow . 

“what do you mean ?” she shrugs . 

“i don't know ..” 

“do you need the bathroom ?” 

“i think so ..” I get out of the car and we walk to the girls' toilet . 

“I'll wait for you here , go inside .” she nods and walks inside . I stand outside looking around , I really hope she's fine eh .. 

Within a few minutes , she walks out ..

“are you okay now ?” she shakes her head and starts crying . 

“Ontshiametse what's wrong now ? Why are you crying ?” 

“there's..there's blood coming out of ...” that's when I immediately knew , I heave a sigh . I don't even know what to do . 

“uhm .. we should go home ..” 

“my jeans are bloody ..” 

“you walk ahead of me so everyone cannot see then get in the car .” she nods lightly and gets out . I walk behind her , you can tell she's not comfortable . Kagoentle runs towards us .. 

“what's up ?” he says .

“We're gonna go home , your sister isn't feeling very well .”

“ohh , are you okay ??” he says placing his hand on her shoulder . 

“leave me alone Kagoentle geez !” she snaps and he glances at her confused . 

“what's wrong with her ?”

“lets just go , are you staying behind ?” I ask . 

“I'll get an uber , don't worry about me .” 

“okay , be careful .” he nods , we walk to the car and she gets in the backseat . I get in the driver's seat and drive off .

We reach Rori's house and I jump off , I open the door for her and she steps out . The car seat is even stained , goshh . 

“lets go ..” 

I hold her hand and we walk inside ..

“go to your room , I'll be there .” she nods and walks upstairs to her room as I also walk upstairs to Rori's room . I open the door , the room is dark . She's covering herself with the blankets busy sniffing . 

“Rorisang ..” I say after taking a deep breath . 

“can i help you ?” she says still not uncovering herself . 

“i think Ontshiametse started ..(clears throat) started her period .” I say scratching my head . She uncovers herself , I immediately felt bad because she doesn't look like her normal self .

“where is she ?” 

“in her bedroom ..” 

She jumps off the bed , won't lie .. I see the weight gain but she doesn't look good . I ruined everything . She puts on her sleepers and walks past me heading to Ontshiametse's room .
