“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”
CHAPTER : 15 .

RORISANG MARTINS .

“baby ..” he says as I wipe off my tears and take the ointment from the medicine cabinet .
“hmm ..” I say , he cups my face and pecks my lips .
“you don't need to blame yourself for his stupid actions ” he says , how can I not ? I'm the one who fell in love with him .
“i hate myself .” I say and he shakes his head .
“don't say that , you're not at fault .” he says .
“how can i not ?” I say as tears stream down .
“its not your fault , you're a wonderful mother Rori . He's just immature and bitter ..” he says and I heave a sigh .
“I'm scared .” I say .
“why don't you get him arrested ? He assulted a child or get a protection order against him .” I nod lightly and lay my head on his chest hugging his waist .
“were you talking to him ? ” I ask and he nods .
“i was” I nod .
“thank you ..”

He kisses my forehead and my cheek , I don't know why Siyabonga is like this.

“are you guys gonna be okay ? I have to go . Mom is expecting me .” I nod , I don't want him to go but .. he has a life .
“I'll see you tomorrow .” I say .
“are you sure you're gonna be fine ?” I nod .
“don't worry , I'll be fine .” he kisses my forehead .
“I'll call you ..” I say .
“don't , I'll be the one to call you .” I smile a bit .
“okay ..” I say .

He wraps his arms around my waist ..

“don't forget to pray .” he says , I smile and shake my head .
“i won't .” he plants a kiss on my lips .
“i love you ..”
“i love you too .” he lets go of me as he walks out . I walk upstairs and go into Kago's room .

They're both watching movies on his iPad I think , I'm just glad I see smiles on their faces otherwise I'd be fucked up right now .

“what are you guys doing ?” they glance at me and smile .
“just watching a new movie , has Buti Lwandile left ?” I nod and lay on the bed .
“he's such a wise man , he listens and he gives advice . I like him mama .” Kago says .
“he is a really nice man .” I say playing with my fingers .
“are you officially in a relationship ?” He asks and i nod .
“yeah ..”

Ontshiametse screams a bit .

“finally , there's someone who's gonna keep you up at night .” I roll my eyes .
“mxm ..” I say as they laugh .
“We're happy for you and we hope that the both of you last forever .” I sigh lightly , it's too early to predict but I hope so too .
“I'm gonna file a protection order against your father . ” I say .
“please .. i don't want to see him ever again .” Kagoentle says .
“I'll make sure you never see him .” I respond .
“what are we eating today ?”
“uhm .. lets eat noddles and cheese .”
“durban curry noodles and cheese ?” they nod .
“okay , I'll order .” I say ..

I don't know what the future brings at this point honestly , Lwandile is the closest person I can hold onto right now .

I just got home , I really hope Rori is fine and the kids are okay too . Loving her means I have to love Kagoentle and Ontshiametse as well . I can do that , because this love I have for her is genuine .

“you're finally back ? how was your day ?” my mom says as I sit down and sigh .
“okay .. she told me that she loved me and i told her too .” she smiles widely .
“what ?!” she exclaims and I nod .
“yeah , so we're taking this one step at a time .” I say.
“oh , you have a woman now ? oh wow .” she says as I chuckle .
“I'm as happy as you are right now , I really do love her and I don't want to hurt her .” I say .
“you're a very responsible and loving man , its gonna be hard for you to hurt her . You're not like that ..” I sigh and nod .
“where's Thando ??” I ask .
“she went somewhere with her friend , they're gonna be back soon though . She's also stressing about her fees and all .” I sigh .
“i would ask for an advance at work but i just started working and i don't think i qualify .” I say .
“and you can't just ask Rori for the money ..” I shake my head .
“I'll never do that , you know I'd never do that .” I say .
“good , I'm glad you're not using your relationship to your own advantage .” I nod lightly .
“hmm ..”
“I'm cooking your favourite rice and chicken for you both today , you must eat till you get full .” I chuckle .
“its never a struggle ..”
“i was thinking .. since the both of you know where you stand , why don't you invite her for lunch on Sunday after church ?” oh but isn't it too soon ?
“haa ma ?” I say .
“what ? There's nothing wrong with wanting to spend some more time with my daughter inlaw .”
“its too soon , besides she's gonna be at church with her kids . I don't think you'd want to meet them yet .” I say .
“why shouldn't i meet her kids ? They're my grandchildren now .”
“don't make me cringe , please ma ..”
“I'll go to Rosebank and ask her myself , you clearly don't want us to have a relationship , jealous boy .” I chuckle because that's not even true .
“you know that's not true , I'm just wanting to take things one step at a time .”
“haiboo , I'll ask her myself because you obviously don't want to . Pass me that grater please ..”

I pass her the grater ..

“I'm gonna hang that painting in my room , i thought of giving it to her but i want to stare at it whenever i miss her .”
“you're something else when you're dating i swear .” she says exclaiming and clapping her hands once .
“when I'm dating the right one .” I say correcting her .
“so .. Londiwe called .” I sigh and roll my eyes , forgive me .
“please don't ruin my mood mother ..”
“Mpumelelo needs a school bag and shoes as well . You know he's gonna start attending grade R soon .”
“you never heard me saying i wasn't going to buy them . Londiwe must just stop acting as if I've been absent all these 5 years .” I say ..
“did you tell Rori ?”
“no ..” I don't know if she's gonna be okay with it , I don't know how to tell her .
