“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 52 . 

LWANDILE . 

I think I'm going crazy , the only thing that would be making Rori eat alot right now is pregnancy . I did Google about it and I'm still trying to check the symptoms . She's eating a lot , that's a symptom . She has mood swings , that's also a symptom . I just have to check whether she has gotten her period or not . Then eventually convince her to do a pregnancy test . 

What she did yesterday was over the top , came back with 3 classic kotas and ate them all . Haii ... I'm now back at home in Sandton , I'm just here to get changing clothes for Lelo since he doesn't want to leave . Even Thando doesn't want to leave .. 

“won't you eat ??” Mom says , I shake my head .

“I'm okay , i just want to ask you something .” I say sitting down and she follows . 

“what is it ?” she asks . 

“Rori and I are back together .” her smile widens . 

“really ? Are you two really back together ?” she asks and I nod .

“yes , but there's a problem .. well not a problem but something happens to be wrong.” I say and she raises her eyebrow . 

“what's wrong now ? heh these problems .” she says . 

“I've Googled about this , i think ..(clears throat) i think Rori might be pregnant .” she pops her eyes out.

“Lwandile !” she exclaims with the biggest smile on her face .

“she's showing the signs and I'm afraid to even ask her to do a test .” I say . 

“heiii ! that would be a very good thing . My fourth grandchild ? oh nkosiyam .” oh We're never gonna hear the end of it . 

“can you like .. help me ? maybe try to come over to the house now so you can ask her to take a test . I'll buy the test .” I say .

“I'd be more than glad to do that , I'll sit her down and talk to her . Otherwise , if she's really pregnant then congratulations .” I sigh .

“we still have your husband and her dad to worry about .” I say . 

“hai , leave these two . They can't involve innocent people in their silly fight . You and Rorisang love each other and no one should stand in your way .” i nod , that's true . 

“where's your husband ?” I ask and she sighs . 

“i really don't know what to do with Msizi , he's out there behaving like a 10 year old spoilt brat .” she says . 

“lets go , before he comes back . I'll drive you back ..” I say , she nods . 

“I'm excited ..” I chuckle .

“i see ..” I take Lelo's overnight bag and we walk out . We jump in the car and I drive off .

We arrive at the Dis-chem pharmacy as I jump off and walk inside . I'm actually clueless about all of this , I wasn't there when Londiwe was pregnant .. eish .

“hi , can i help you with something ?” the worker says and I nod . 

“I'm looking for pregnancy tests , can you help me ?” she smiles and nods .

“come ..” I follow her , she leads to a section that has the tests and other stuff . 

“there they are ..” she says , I scratch my head . 

“uhm .. which one do you think is more accurate ?” I ask . 

“uhh .. I'd suggest Clear Choice or E.T.P .” she says and I nod lightly . 

“I'll take two of each .” I say . 

“sure ..” she grabs them for me . I don't know why I seem to be panicking .. what if she's really pregnant ? I mean .. God .

“are you perhaps married ?” she asks . 

“no but I'm in a relationship .”

“and you think she might be pregnant ?” duhh .. that's why I'm here . 

“yes ..” I say , I take the tests and go to the till .

RORISANG .

I've never been in such a noisy house , Lelo just adds the cherry ontop . This kid can make noise yoh ! I'm sitting in the lounge watching them do their karaoke thingie . I've never seen my kids this happy , Lelo is on cloud 9 sana . 

I glance at Lwandile who just walked in with his mother , she smiles at me .

“i think your beauty went from a 100 to 400 .” she says as I laugh . 

“not at all ..” We share a hug .

“Lwandile didn't tell me you're coming .” I say glancing at Lwandile who's avoiding my eyes . 

“its a surprise ..” she goes on to greet Metse and Kago . 

“you guys have gotten tall hey ?” she says . 

“do you see me ? Im gonna be as tall dad , you'll see .” Kagoentle says . 

“I'm gonna be the tall one .” Ontshiametse says ..

“I'm sure you are , Rori this is such a lovely house .” she says looking around . 

“thank you , i tried hey .” I say . 

“hai its very beautiful , can you come with me upstairs ? To your bedroom ?” she asks . 

“is there a problem ?” I say and she shakes her head smiling .

“not at all .” she says , she pulls my hand and we walk upstairs . We go into my bedroom and she closes the door . I sit on the bed and she follows . 

“you're scaring me ..” I say . 

“baby .. haven't you noticed any changes about your body in the last few weeks ?” I glance at her confused . 

“changes ??” I ask . 

“Lwandile tells me you've been experiencing pregnancy symptoms .” I frown lightly , Lwandile ? oh he's gonna get it . 

“I've been eating alot and I've gained but that doesn't mean I'm pregnant .” I say and she smiles .

“what about your period ?” wait .. period ? I didn't go on my period this month .. no ..

“uhm ...” she holds both my hands , I think I'm gonna faint . 

“you might be pregnant .” she says handing me a small plastic , did they buy pregnancy tests without even consulting me ? What if I say I don't want to take this test ? 

“please take the tests and confirm . We just want to know and Lwandile was scared to even bring this up . It's giving him anxiety as well .” Mxm , anxiety yoknuka .

“what if I'm pregnant ?” 

“its God's will .” she says , I sigh taking the boxes out of the plastic . I never did a pregnancy test before , everything was confirmed at the hospital , even wtih Ontshiametse . 

“how do i do this ?” I say , shame someone might be sleeping in the guest room today , nxaai . She shows me how to the tests , once she's done . I go to the bathroom .. I'm getting irritated , what if I'm pregnant though ? I do all the requirements all on the 4 sticks , why am I sweating ? I grab the sticks walking back to the bedroom . Lwandile is here , I would strangle him right now for not discussing this with me first before running to his mother . 

“the 2 sticks say i must wait 5 minutes and the other 2 say 8 minutes .” I say placing them on the bed and giving Lwandile a death stare . 

“i would love if you're pregnant . A newborn nyana in our lives would be amazing .” shem lomama is happy and I wish I could burst . My phone rings and I smile at the caller ID . 

“Its Kgothatso ..” I say answering the phone . 

“hey ..” I say . 

“hello my love , how do you feel now ?” she asks and I sigh . 

“i don't know .” I say . 

“motherhood awaits you again ..” she says . 

“what ?” 

“I'll come bearing gifts when i visit you .” with that being said , she hangs up . The 2 sticks beep as Lwandile's mother quickly grabs the two , the smile says it all to be honest . 

“Ma don't be smiling like that , what do they say ?” Lwandile asks . 

“pregnant ..” should I be happy ? should I cry ? eh .. Lwandile glances at me then takes the sticks from his mother . The other 2 beep , same results . God I need fresh air .

“excuse me ..” I say walking out , what did I expect ?
