“HIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART”

CHAPTER : 23 

LWANDILE HLONGWANE .

I'm in my office , I wish I had stayed home but then I can't . I don't want to miss work as of yet , I'm just hoping that Londiwe doesn't give Rori attitude because my woman doesn't actually take shit . A knock comes through my door as I sigh .. I did ask that no one disturbs me because I'm actually quite busy . 

“come in ..” I say as Vanessa walks in , lord save me please . 

“good morning Mr Hlongwane .” she's wearing a very short dress , she grins and walks towards my desk .

“can i help you with anything ?” I say sitting back . 

“you look quite good this morning and you smell amazing as well .” I'll roll my eyes just like how Rori rolls her eyes .

“okay , is there something business related that you want to say to me ?” 

“i was thinking man , you're single .. I'm single .. lets try this out .” I chuckle and shake my head.  

“did you hear me when i said I'm in a committed relationship ? Get out of my office now before i report you . I warned you yesterday and you're here coming back for rohnd 2 ? are you mad ?” she sighs . 

“you're such a hard nut to crack but I'm patient , I'll have you for breakfast , lunch and dinner baby .” She says walking out shaking her butt . I roll my eyes focusing on my laptop , she's just crazy .. I plan on making Rori my wife once I get everything in order and she's here talking about dinner , lunch whatnot ? she must have some self respect now ..

Another knock comes through , it better be someone else . Not those two skinny ladies , I really don't want to be annoyed at this point . I've had enough .. 

“come in ..” 

The man walks in , I stand up .. I really hope this is not who I think it is . He glances at me with a straight face . 

“Lwandile Hlongwane ?” i nod tightly .

“yes sir ..” 

“Rorisang's father , sit down .” 

My heart beats faster , did it really have to be him ? goshh . I sit back down .. I'm about to sweat right now . 

“you're the little boy my daughter is dating ?” I swallow hard , I'm not a boy though .

“yes sir .” I say . 

“hmm ...” I can see a bit of Rorisang in him . He's so serious .

“do i scare you ?” he says and I nod .. oh Lwandile what are you nodding for ?!

“no sir .. no .” I say .

“oh so i don't scare you ? You're not scared of me ?” I shake my head .

“i am , i am scared of you sir . Apologies ..” 

“hmm , atleast you're not sitting around doing nothing . You're actually working and the positive results are showing .” i nod . 

“yes sir .”

“so you don't have a problem working for your partner ?” I shake my head .

“i don't have a problem , as long as i can provide for my family and have a monthly income .” i say . 

“valid , i hope you aren't having sex with my daughter in this office . I don't want to find myself strangling you .” he says , well he does look like he can strangle a person till they die .

“no I'm not sir , i wouldn't .” he nods .

“you're 29 right ?” I nod . 

“not bad , i actually assumed you'd be a lot uglier and unhealthy but you look .. i don't want to say handsome because I'll sound gay but you look good for my daughter .” I chuckle a bit .. 

“I'm grateful ..” 

“my child has been through the worst , please do not hurt her , she's my princess .. her mother's heart . Do not hurt her Hlongwane .” he says . 

“i promise not to hurt her sir , i love her way too much . I will not hurt her ..” 

“do not even think of ill treating my grandchildren , there i will hurt you badly Hlongwane . I swear ..” 

“i will not , they've become a positive influence in my life . Their kindness and respect towards me makes me feel comfortable enough to love Rori along with her kids .” he nods multiple times .

“you speak alot of sense ..” 

I clear my throat and sit up .. 

“i think you should know that i also have a child , a son .. 5 years of age .” he raises his eyebrow .

“she didn't tell me that .” 

“i just told her like a while ago ..” he nods lightly .

“i don't see why she'd have a problem with you having a son because she has Ontshiametse and Kago . ” i nod . 

“yes sir .”

“i just wanted to really see who you really are . You seem like a genuine boy who fears God , she did tell me .” I nod . 

“i do ..” I respond . 

“you should know that if you hurt her , even make her cry .. you're gonna have to deal with me .” he says chuckling .

“i won't give you any reason to complain .” 

“good , have a wonderful day Hlongwane . Where is my daughter ?” 

“(clears throat) at my house .. ”

He chuckles .. 

“eh .. okay . Bye ..” he says walking out as I heave a sigh in relief . The fact that she's not here right now makes it worse . My heart is raising ..
