FINAL CHAPTER OF MAFUNGWASE AND MENZI:OUR UNEXPECTED LOVE .

NARRATED

As she is waiting for him together with menzi ,the nerves start kicking in . She is scared yet curious about what he will say or do .

Her leg is shaking and menzi notices then rests his hand on it , she looks at him and menzi mutters.

"Calm down ,everything is going to be okay"

She nods and he kisses her cheek . After a few minutes samkelo comes to them and sits down, facing them .

"So you are samkelo?"

He nods ,he was informed about her losing her memory and that ate him up alot .

"Yeah i am samkelo .....are you okay?"

"Yeah i am "

She says nodding then looks at menzi and samkelo notices that they still have between them even after she lost her memory, the connection was never lost .

"Why did you shoot me samkelo?"

"It was a mistake, an honest mistake. "

" but you held us hostage"

"I know and i regret it ,i wasn't supposed to do that . It was foolish of me and I guess my bipolar was showing up again "

" why couldn't you just move on?"

" I don't know , I guess i loved you too much but I was toxic and I'm realizing that now . I hurt you mafungwase, a lot and you didn't deserve it "

"Yes I didn't "

He sighs .

"And that's why I want your forgiveness, please forgive me mafungwase "

" it's not that easy ,you almost killed me "

" ngiyazi but that was foolish of me , I'm really sorry "

She looks at menzi and he nods .

"Fine I forgive you , you weren't inlove samkelo but obsessed and that was not a good thing . I hope you will treat the next person that you will love with respect and love ."

They stand up and leave him there . He watches them walk out then sighs . He loved her ,he really did but he got toxic and hurt her ,now he has lost her .

LEBOHANG

it's been 3 weeks of me and kuhle not talking and I miss him so much . I miss our calls ,his laughter ,his pecks and the way he wasn't scared to show affection to me .I miss him a lot .

What hurts me the most is that the person that I chose is now acting weird . He is ignoring my texts and calls ,he doesn't even react to my pictures. He cold like a freezer now and it hurts .

I chose T over the person who i really loved and It breaks me thst I chose the one who doesn't care .

My phone rings and it's kuhle ....why is he calling ? . I answer it .

"I'm at your home gate ,phuma "

He immediately drops the call . Haa he is not even saying a hey ,just straight to the point ?

I walk out of the gate and I see him leaning on the car cabinet and I walk towards him . I fold my arms and lock eyes with him as I arrive to him and he opens his arms .

" I don't want to hug you "

"Don't lie Lala ,you want to "

I roll my eyes and thrown myself to him . I get relieved as I'm in his embrace and suddenly becomes quiet. The noise fades and he kisses my forehead.

"I love you "

I nod then rest my chin on his chin ,locking eyes .

" ngiyakuthanda nami "

He hugs me more and after few minutes we let go of each other. We look in each other's eyes and what i see in his eyes is pure love but it look like he is hiding something from me .

"Are you hiding something from me ?"

He looks away and I clap my hands ,chuckling.

"You are .."

"Look there's something I have to tell you"

"What is that ?"

He clears his throat.

"I'm moving to England "

My heart breaks immediately and I feel tears stinging . What does he mean when he says he is moving ...he is leaving me?

"What .... what do you mean you are moving to England, why?"

Tears flow on my cheeks and he wipes them with his thumbs and holds my face ,looking into my eyes .

" Dad found a new job and the company us based at England "

"Well he can go and leave you "

"He doesn't want to ......he wants to be near us "

"But .....but that means you will forget about me kuhle "

" I won't.....I love you so much and this hurt but I want you to move on . I'm not saying forget about me but move on , be happy "

"No ..... I don't want to "

"You have already chosen thando ,he makes you happy right ?"

"Yeah but I don't love him , I love you kuhle please don't go plea......"

I immediately smash my lips against his and I feel like I'm floating, like time has stopped. His lips are soft and delicate. Our kiss is filled with emotions and love . We pull out and he places his forehead on my mine .

"Please don't go "

I whisper as my tears flow.

"I'm sorry but I have no choice "

He slowly let go of me.

He walks to the car and i sob even more as the car drives away . Mom walks to me and pulls me in for a hug . I sob in her chest as she brushes my back .

"It's all my fault mom ...... we couldn't even spend time together "

I'm really heart broken , the fact that we didn't spend time together breaks me . It's all my fault.

MENZI

Things have been going pretty well between me and mafungwase and tonight we are going to the beach , to catch up more and bond

We place the towel on the sand and we lay on our back ,watching the stars . For a moment we stay in silent and she comes closer to and I scoop her as she lays her head on my chest.

"You make me feel safe lush "

"And you make me feel happy chubby cheeks "

She giggles and i kiss her forehead .we look in each other's eyes .

"Thank you "

" For what ?"

"For being there for me and choosing me even when I lost my memory "

"I meant it when I said I will always choose you ,ngiyakuthanda and you mean a lot to me my chubby cheeks "

Her eyes sparkle with love and she smiles then pecks my lips .

"I love you more lush "

"As you should but I love you even more and let's not argue about that "

We watch the stars peacefully. This girl means a lot to me and I will forever choose her .

AFTER 5 MONTHS

Masithole buried her husband and his case was investigated but due to no evidence, no one was arrested and the case was closed .

Meanwhile samkelo has been doing a great progress in his healing journey and handling his bipolar condition very carefully . His parents are proud of him and about his academics ,he will get back on them after his healing process.

While Lebohang has been trying to forget about Lindokuhle but she can't because everytime, there's something that reminds her about him . Her relationship with Thando has it's own ups and downs but it's normal and she likes him now but he will be like Lindokuhle to her .

AFTER 8 YEARS

MAFUNGWASE

My life has been busy but I wouldn't trade it for anything because i have people who love me with everything in them around me and I'm happy .

My relationship with Menzi has been the healthiest relationship I've ever seen . He is still loyal and kind and handsome. He is still the same even though some people tried to ruined it but we made it . To think lindiwe almost killed me because of jealousy is crazy and some girl said he impregnated her was a little painful but turns out she was lying and just wanted him .

I have my own business now and a part time actress . I love what I'm doing and my lush supports me in everything that I do even though my acting career has some drama in it , one time my co-actor fell inlove with me and wanted me to be with him that time he was married .

But he didn't get me because I'm not that cheap and I only love my lush .

Today Lebohang is taking me out and I wonder where is that because lately she has been busy with some stuff . She has been working on moving on since thando's death . She was broken and even worse he left her while pregnant but after some time she started her healing process and has been raising oluhle pretty good .I'm proud of her.

As I'm about to open the door ,she suddenly enters and she looks gorgeous .

"Wow ,you are so gorgeous boo!"

She takes my hand and we rush out . While she is busy driving . I keep asking her questions about where we are going but she is not telling me and just says it's a surprise. Can't she just give a hint at least?!

We arrive at the beach ..... really a beach ??
I look at her and she shrugs .

"You didn't tell that we are coming here ....really a beach lebo?"

She grabs my hand and we walk to the other side of the beach . As we walk closer , a beautiful setting appears and Menzi is standing there with his friends and my friends . I see lindokuhle standing with a white ,beautiful , chubby lady besides him .

I place my hands on my mouth with tears threatening to fall as the big sign " WILL YOU MARRY ME ....NO MARRY ME CHUBBY CHEEKS " becomes clear

ohh my god this is huge . I finally stop walking and he comes to take my hand while lebohang goes to stand besides her daughter . Our song plays in the background and he kneels . A big ,shiny diamond ring sparkles and I gasp as he takes my hand while his tears gleaming with tears .

"Mafungwase we have been through a lot of things together and many people tried to ruin us but they failed because we chose each other ,we stayed together and we fought the battles together. I love you so much chubby cheeks and you have my heart ......I choose you everytime . Will you please make the happiest man in the world and marry me ?"

I look around and everyone is smiling ,wearing white ..... wait why didn't I get the theme?

"Yazi ningijwayela kabi?"

They all frown including menzi .

"Hawu sthandwa ,what do you mean?"

"Why didn't I get the theme ,why am I the only one wearing gold?"

They all laugh including me then i look into his eyes .

He says excitedly and pushes the ring on my finger then picks me up and spins me around then smash his lips on mine . We share a deep kiss and we look in each other's eyes after kissing .

We mutter to each other then face the crowd and I raise my hand . They all celebrate.

LINDOKUHLE

As we celebrate, Mimi gets a call and walks away to answer it . I see lebo looking at me and I decide to walk to her .

"Hi"
"Hey"

Her voice still makes my heart skip a beat .

"How have you been ?"

"Good I guess ,you?"

"Good"

She nods ,yeah neh this is awkward.

"I see someone captured your heart "

"I tried but somehow couldn't "
