MAFUNGWASE

Pris ......that guy is a curse upon my life and I hate him so much .The way he has been calling me with private numbers and sending dm's with fake accounts is starting to bother me .

I haven't told menzi about this because I know that he will get angry then do something that he will regret . I don't want him to end up going to juvenile because of that scumbag.

But let me just breath and forget about that toothpick. Today it's the 24th of December and mam msomi invited us for a gathering. I guess all neighbors will be there and I hope pris will not be there because I will perish .

I decided to wear a long sleeve silky black dress that has a short length with short block heels and some jewelry. Damn I look good and my mom really gave birth to a gorgeous girl ,umuntu ka baby madoda!.

We finally arrive at umlazi and I'm really nervous, I haven't seen these people for a long time . I hope they will welcome us with warm hands . Everyone is walking up and down around the yard ,the kids are playing ,the smoke of the braii .

People are laughing left ,right and center .the sounds of joy in kids and elderly people is truly refreshing. Mam msomi finally comes to us and welcomes us then leads us to the reserved place in the tent .

My mom decides to go with her to catch on few things and one of mam msomi's grandchildren comes to me then hugs me .simlindile is one of the friends I had while staying here and she made my days here alot better.

Well I'm older than her but we relate to each other so much .she offers flip flops to me and I take them .

"You look gorgeous mafungwase "

"Ngiyabonga kakhulu ,well I'm just trying "

She rolls her eyes and mutters.

"Nangoke umafungwase, you aren't even trying girl .you are gorgeous!!"

I chuckle.

"Thank you"

"Come ,let's take a walk with omuhle .we will come back when it's time to eat"

She takes my hand and we get out of the house then look for omuhle .we finally find her then went to take a walk around the area.

"I'm craving ice cream yazi"-omuhle.

"Let's go buy it"-simlindile.

"Do you guys have money to buy that ice cream?"

Omuhle nods .

"Okay ,we can go"

We walk to the tuckshop that sells ice cream and other snacks but as we get closer ,I notice a female figure that is similar .hayibo is that lindiwe??

What is she doing here? .she doesn't even stay here or is she visiting her relatives here? . She spots me and she immediately makes a disgusted expression, she hates me so much as if I sent her to cheat .

I choose to ignore her and not greet before she causes any troubles for me .As we pass her ,she stops me by holding my wrist and I look at her frowning.

"Why aren't you greeting?"

"Why should I lindiwe?"

Simlindile and omuhle look at each other confused.

"Do you guys know each other?"-simlindile.

Lindiwe chuckles then tuts her teeth.

"Yes we do ,we know each other and i know that she stole my man "

She tightens her grip around my wrist and I hiss.

"I didn't steal him lindiwe ,you cheated on him and he is the one who chose me "

"Because you couldn't stop looking at him and yearning for him !"

She slightly raise her voice and her face is red.

"Well i didn't ask him to fall inlove with me"

I push her and she gasps .I turn to simi and omuhle but as we are about to walk in ,I see pris carrying chips .I immediately stop walking and he spots me too .simlindile rushes to hug him since she hasn't seen him for a long time apparently and they are friends.

Simlindile is the one who helped him to get me and I still regret the day I agreed to be his girlfriend. Omuhle looks at me as I'm stuck, I can't say or do anything. I see him walking towards me and I clear my throat then fold my arms.

"Mafungwase "

"Pris"

He scans me while smiling then pulls me in for a hug but I don't hug him back .my body immediately becomes stiff for a moment so I push him away .

"I don't know who gave you the right to hug me . Simlindile and omuhle please buy the ice-cream that we came here for "

They nod and goes to get them while im still processing that fact that he hugged me .I mean how dare him ,who does he think he is??. Fuck I'm disgusted by the fact that he hugged me!!

"So are you just going to stand here besides me and not walk away ?.I hate you pris and I don't want you near me "

"I was but then I saw you ,so we will go altogether with oSimlindile .look mafungwase..."

He holds my hand and I look at him with no emotion .

"I still love you so much and I regret cheating on you"

"Wow"

I yank my hand off his grip and fold my arms looking away .

"Kanti mzala....."

Lindiwe suddenly shows up and stops on her tracks as she sees the awkward situation then folds her arms with an attitude.

"I see you have met this bitch "-lindiwe

"Ungangibizi ngesfebe we lindiwe, ngizokunyathela"

Pris frowns .

"Why are you calling her a bitch?"-pris

"She is the one who stole menzi from me "-lindiwe

He looks at me and I roll my eyes ,exhaling .

"For the last time lindiwe , I didn't steal menzi "

So they are cousins ,well I'm not surprised. I guess the cheating ways runs in the blood .futhi lofukwe must stop calling me a bitch because I will definitely beat her .

"So is it true?"-pris

"No and even if I did ,it's none of your business "

"I know you as a girl that has self respect mafungwase "-pris

Akangahlanyi layena ,he didn't even knew what was my favorite food or thing to do ,now he is here talking as if he knows me .

"Kahle pris ,you don't know anything about me"

"Well i do. I know that you are low ,fatty ,ugly ,short dwarf with big boob's and flat ass and you are hairy as a monkey also you are a bitch that has ugly teeth ."-lindiwe

My eyes twitch as she is saying all these stuff to me .my blood is boiling and I'm about to hit this bitch .

"That's not a nice thing to say lindiwe, apologize "-pris

"Masimba ,she doesn't deserve menzi lo .she is not the kind of girls that menzi dates ,he dates girls like me ,girls who knows expensive tastes ,girls who look like baddies ,girls with attractive eyes and body unlike her"-lindiwe.

Ohhhhhh I will beat this bitch .as simlindile and omuhle walks out ,my palm immediately runs against her cheeck and she holds it .they gasp and pris stands infront of me while she is busy screaming and insulting at me .

"Lalela la we lindiwe , don't you ever say things about me like that again uyezwa? ,because I will beat you mina .ngizokugxoba into e serious "

I grab simlindile and omuhle then walk away but then she calls out my name and I stop walking .

"You will never give him what I gave him and that is a delicious cake ,also he wants only one thing from you which is your virginity!"-lindiwe

I turn to look at her for a moment then walk away .I swallow the hot lump and sniff .what if she's right ,what if I'm not enough for menzi ,what I'm just a fling to him ,what if he only wants me for my virginity?.

It's hurts loving someone who has had moments that matters with someone else ,with someone like lindiwe. Like Lara Jean once said " for every first I was having with him ,he already had his with her " and I say every moment and memories that we share together, they have already had them together .
