NARRATED

Being a woman is not easy ,especially a married woman .you have to endure all the pain that your husband cause due to the say "kuyabekezelwa emendweni " which means in marriage you endure....which is total bullshit because what do you mean you have to put up in all the nonsense that your husband gets up to?

Unfortunately that is what masithole did for the past few of her marriage, she endured all the abuse she got ,the humiliation and the body shaming .Everything that came with her marriage wasn't blissful yet painful. The only thing that she got and was a blessing was her kids ,other than that umsangano nje wodwa.

She places the whiskey on the coffee table and gives him a look for a minute ,he notices and frowns.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

She fakes a smile .

"Ayy lutho baba ,i just miss our bedroom service "

She brushes his knee and he shakes his head then gulps down the whiskey . He frowns due to the bitterness of the whiskey.

"Mmmm this hits the spot "

"I bet it does myeni wami"

She takes the glass and strolls to the kitchen .

She sits down after coming back from the kitchen and he nods .

"For real ,you make me happy"

He shakes his head as everything starts to get blurry and widens his eyes .

"What's wrong baba?"

She asks faking her concern and he goes down on his knees then bend ,feeling his heart pumping faster . The sweat drips and he feels his intestines burning.

"What did you put here?"

"Something to put you to sleep.....you deserve a break don't you?"

"Uhhhhh"

He falls down and bubbles starts coming out from his mouth and he starts shaking .She watches him as he slowly loses his soul . She was tired ,she couldn't handke it anymore so he had to die . She may have lost a husband but on the brighter side she is getting inheritance.

She kneels besides him after he has stopped shaking then places her two fingers on his neck to feel the pulse but there pulse is no where to be found and she smiles seeing that her bastard husband is no more .

After seeing that he is no more ,she let out an agony scream and crocodile tears .

Hearing the scream ,the neighbors come rushing and finds her crying next to her husband. He is no more .

MAFUNGWASE

My memories are slowly coming back and I'm really happy that they are ,I can finally say who I am and what I like without having to think hard.

As much as I'm getting my memories back and slowly healing .....there's something in me that wants to see samkelo. I want closure and get my answers .

Like what made him shoot me and hold us on hostage ? . I want to understand....yes I know that they said he loved me but i don't think that was love , I just feel like I was the only person who listened to him and he got obsessed with me .

If he loved me ,he wasn't going to cheat on me like they say and hold us hostage . He was going to let go off me and move on but instead he did what he did then I lost my memory .I really want to see him so that he can answer my questions.

My phone rings and it's my bestie boo . I answer the call and I hear her sniffing.

"Boo what's wrong?"

" I finally told him that I loved him and he chose to let go off me ,like why ?"

"Wait what?"

"We confessed feelings for each other and i said I don't want to break thando's heart so he let go of me ,that was so selfish of him"

She sobs more and i just shake my head . Her situation with lindo is exactly like mine and menzi .

" wena why couldn't you just break up with T?"

"I didn't want to break his heart"

"So you chose to break the one that you love?"

"I didn't mean to"

" I understand but lebo he wasn't being selfish, he just saw that it was for the best if he let go of you "

"For who?!"

"For both of you lebo .....soon enough he was going to get a girlfriend and you were going to get hurt then be jealous as him now ."

"Look ...I know how you feel right now and I advise you to follow your heart and if T gets hurt ,it's part of life ."

She sighs .

"Okay thank you boo , i love you"

"I love you more"

She drops the call . Yeah umjolo has many challenges.

MENZI

I'm genuinely happy that chubby cheeks is slowly getting her memory back which means she is slowly healing . Our relationship indeed has a lot of drama but I wouldn't trade our love for anything because it means a lot to me .

I love her and I see a future with her ,she has my heart for real and she will always will because she is the first girl who understood me and loved me for me not for the things I have. She is special and has a special place in my heart .

Lindokuhle told me about everything that has been happening between him and lebo .I must say it's drama but I understand him because I've been there .....yeah my drama with mafungwase but I chose to follow my heart and that's why we are here now .

He enters my room and sits on the edge of my bed .

"Talk "

I say to him and he takes a deep breath.

"I love that girl broo but man she is hurting me "

"That's how it is ,love hurts sometimes "

"Did you confess ?"

"Yeah and she did too ,she loves me but she said she doesn't want to break his heart that time she is breaking mine ."

He nods .I wonder if he told her that he is moving to England.

"Did you tell her that you are moving to England?"
