Chapter 11

FRIDAY.

MAFUNGWASE

Today is the day of the pool party that samkelo organized and apparently menzi will be there together with his girlfriend. I didn't want to see him after all that has happened but I have no choice samkelo is still his friend and they have been friends even before me.

My parents are not home.....again .These days they haven't been paying attention to us and that hurts us ,especially me and Aphelele .Simphiwe is used to this ,so majority of the time he doesn't care but just continues to go on with his life.

I told him about my situation with menzi and samkelo, he just laughed at me and said being part of a love triangle as teenager is part of growing but my heart will eventually know who to choose kodwa that's the thing ,I don't know who to choose.

Right now I'm helping samkelo and his sister to prepare everything for the pool party .Me and his sister have been trying to get along and she is an amazing person even though we have nothing in common just like me and her stupid brother.

I gulp down a glass of water and I feel hands around my waist. He places his chin on my shoulder.

"Are you okay sthandwa?"

He mutters softly and I nod .

"Yeah I'm okay"

I turn around and face him .we lock eyes and for the first time ever since we started dating, I see sincerity and love but also there's something that i can't put my finger on that i see in his eyes.

"Look......"

He grabs my hands and softly brush the back of them .

"I'm sorry about everything ,we have been fighting alot these days and it genuinely doesn't sit well with me .you know that I don't like to see us fighting especially when I'm the cause of it . So if you can ,please forgive me my love"

I mean ,i want to forgive him but can I trust him again?. I discovered alot of things about him these days and i just don't know what to do .I heavily sigh.

"Fine ,I forgive you "

He smiles and kisses my hands .

"Just don't cheat or flirt with other girls again"

"Okay "

He pulls me in for a hug and tightly squeeze me .

Samkelo's friends have arrived and music is blasting. I wander my eyes around as I play with the pool water with my feet .Some are swimming, some are dancing and some are making out .....ewwww!

I feel a tap on my shoulder and when I raise my head ,it's samkelo .He has drinks for me and i take out my my feet from the pool water then stand up ,he didn't even help me to stand up.

"I bought this for you "

I fake a smile then take the drink from him .

"Thank you "

He nods then grabs my hand.

"Come ,I have a surprise for you "

"Ohh okay"

We are already walking towards the gate ,he didn't even wait for me to put on my shoes!

When he opens the gate ,they walk in. We immediately get lost in each other's eyes and I see a reflection of pain ,love ,depression and confusion in his eyes at the same time .

"Menzi..."

I mutter and suddenly I feel an arm around my waist then a kiss at the side of my head .I eventually come back to my senses and fake a smile.

"Sanibona "

I say at menzi and his girlfriend that is absolutely gorgeous but rude. She gives me an ugly look and I quickly clear my throat.

"Menzi ,my friend. Let's walk in the house so that you will get good things ."

They nod and follow samkelo, leaving me standing there .my heart is .....is aching ,I feel the hot lump and I just know that i will cry , so I deeply exhale then run my hands on my thighs and follow them. I genuinely see trouble here ,there's something that samkelo is planning.

MENZI

I feel her walking behind us as samkelo is showing us around and introducing us to his other friends.

She doesn't look happy or inlove with samkelo ,it's like she is with him just for the sake of hurting me . Well if she is really with him for the sake of hurting me then it is working .

We walk to the pool area and we sit at the outdoor chairs .mafungwase sits on samkelo and lindiwe sits on me . She keeps on avoiding my eyes and sipping on her drink .

"So how is your relationship so far ?"-lindiwe

Mafungwase clears her throat then look at samkelo ,smiling. That smile is definitely fake , her smile lines are not showing, also her slightly visible dimples that are next to her lips are not showing and her teeth are not showing widely enough .she is definitely faking it.

"Uhmm ,it is going very well and I might say samkelo is making me the happiest girl ever ."-Mafungwase

"Wow that's good ,I see that him and menzi are working hard to make us both happy because menzi is also making me happy and glowing "-lindiwe

"Well that's good , very good"-mafungwase.

She nervously laughs and samkelo kisses her cheeck ,infront of me !

"I'm also blessed to have a girlfriend like mafungwase, she has been very patient with me and loving .Right baby?"-samkelo

"Yeah ....yeah "-mafungwase

She is stuttering, clearly indicates that she is partly not happy or comfortable. This situation is absolutely awkward. He tightens his grip around her waist and she swallows her saliva. What is going on here?

NARRATED

The party has been going well and these trouble some teenagers are having the best time of their lives well except for these two .....mafungwase and menzi.

He keeps on stealing glances of her as she is sitting alone ,her feet in the pool. Samkelo is not even paying attention to her and that just proves how much he doesn't deserve her .She is a gem and she deserves someone who will be clingy, attentive, lovely and kind towards her .

The way his heart is burning because of the fire that he feels whenever he steals a glance of her is unexplainable. It's a flame that can't be put off ,a flame that might burn forever. Her beauty is out of this world ,yes lindiwe is with him but his heart is somewhere else but how would the flame that he feels help him ?

He shakes his head and tries to focus on lindiwe even though his soul and mind wants to look at her ...forever.

She feels the undeniable sensation of being watched .Being watched by someone who wants her ,someone who wants to be next her and have her in their arms ,someone who would do anything for her to be happy ,someone who is not samkelo.

She narrows her eyes ,glancing at them as they seem happy .she should've just confessed her feelings to him before he got together with lindiwe but she wasn't sure of how he felt about her .

Her eyes focuses more to the perfection of the boy that might have stolen her heart .she doesn't want to admit that ,she is afraid. She doesn't want to seem as if she is now choosing him because her ship with samkelo is slowly sinking .where is he anyway ?

She gets up and goes to look for him inside the house .

As she strolls around ,wandering her eyes .She hears moans coming from his room .Her heart immediately breaks ,this can't be happening. He promised her ,he said he changed!

She opens and the sight is heart throbbing ,he is grinding her and groaning like he is eating the best thing ever .

Tears sting her eyes and she slowly opens her mouth .

"Samkelo"

He turns his head around and spots her .He immediately gets off the girl and fixes himself then walk to her ,shaking and palms sweating. How did she get here?

"Baby ....I...I "

He is stuttering ,trying to touch her but she moves backwards.

"Don't touch me samkelo ....so this is where you are getting the drinks?"

Tears are already falling and the other teens has stopped doing whatever they were busy with ,the attention is now at them .

"Baby ,this is a whole misunderstanding "

"Misunderstanding yamasimba samkelo!"

He nervously chuckles and looks around then tries to move closer to her .

"I said don't touch me samkelo!!!"

At outside, he hears her shouting and he immediately knew that samkelo has done something. He moves lindiwe from his lap then rushes inside .

She is crying and samkelo is trying to chase away the other teenagers as they were now recording.

"Samkelo you said you are going to be loyal!"

"But I am Baby......please just stop crying !"

They are now raising their voices against each other and samkelo is at the verge of also crying, he hates arguing with her because it's makes her cry and he hates seeing her cry .

"Samkelo ,what did you do to her?"-menzi

They both turn to him and mafungwase is a mess which breaks and makes menzi more angry .the other teenagers are now outside. It's only them inside the house.

"Phuma menzi!"-samkelo

"I asked you a question, umenzeni?"-menzi

"It's none of your business actually "-samkelo

"If she is crying like this ? ,well samkelo it is my business because I hate seeing my chubby cheeks like this "-menzi

"It's not like she will sleep with you if you hate seeing her like this "-samkelo

Mafungwase's heart breaks even more, she can't believe what samkelo just said to menzi .she cries even more .

Menzi's palms becomes sweaty because of the burning anger and he jumps to him with a punch then they start fighting .

As they are fighting, mafungwase tries to stop them and the teenagers outside notices the commotion and starts rushing in ,together with lindiwe .

When they get in ,they find menzi on top of samkelo, punching him badly .

Meanwhile mafungwase is trying her best to stop them but lindiwe notices and growls then grabs her and slaps her .

The tears immediately stops flowing and mafungwase shows her that she is Umlazi girl not a Yellowwood park girly.

Mafungwase is also now on top of lindiwe ,punching her repeatedly and the securities of the area rushes in then stop the four teenagers from fighting .

Lindiwe is swearing at mafungwase and mafungwase is only breathing heavily while menzi goes to grab water and samkelo is also busy swearing at him .

Menzi and mafungwase both glance at each other then shake their heads. Well them loving each other comes with alot of drama .
