MAFUNGWASE

Everyone has different stories about love ,some may say love is kind and peaceful, some may say love is hurtful and depressing ,some may say love is hard and kinda draining .Well i say love is confusing, love is kind ,love is peaceful, love is hurtful and love is beautiful when you are with the right person. Right now my position with love is confusing.

AFTER TWO WEEKS

My relationship with samkelo has been normal ,not good ,not nice ,not amazing ,just normal. I don't know ,I guess it's because we have nothing in common. I mean yes ,the vibe is there but our relationship isn't deep .

We have been fighting alot these days and it is draining me . I'm starting to question our relationship, why did he choose me ?.
I've been ignoring his calls and texts since yesterday and I really don't want to talk to him . He always thinks that he is right even when he is not , he even had the audacity to tell me that I must stop eating fat cakes.

Where the hell does he get that nerve to tell me what i must do and must not do !?.
Akakhohlwe ,ayy lakumina .I'm starting to think that our relationship is spurious, it's not genuine as I thought .he just wants someone to control.

MENZI

How did we even get here?. We are not even in contact ,she even blocked me !!.
Yes I chose lindiwe but it hurts not seeing her ,she always made sure that I had a smile on my face ,she checked up on me , she was my therapist, she even knew my dislikes and likes by head meanwhile lindewe barely knows anything about me .

I regret not telling her about how I feel and I will always regret it .my heart aches just by thinking about how samkelo has her heart ,she stole mine then decided to not give me hers .it's so unfair .

Sabelo walks in my room as I'm lying on my back ,facing the ceiling while my head is placed on my left hand . He hits my knee and sits on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong ?"

"Nothing"

I dismiss him .I don't want him to know my affairs especially if it involves love.

"We both know that you are lying ,talk to me"

I heavily sigh and sit up.how will I even start explaining that I've realized that I have feelings for mafungwase after seeing her with samkelo?

"Menzi ngiyakwazi ,you have been like this for two weeks . You are not even eating ndoda ,mom is starting to be worried about you ."

"It's about mafungwase "

He scoffs and shakes his head.

"I knew that whatever that made you like this ,definitely involves her .what did she do to you"

"I have feelings for mafungwase bruh and she chose samkelo "

Damn this hot lump that I'm feeling in my throat, I don't want to cry but thinking about that night and how he held her hurts me so much .The fact that I'm away from her and we are not even in contact hurts me even more .

"I'm listening bafo ,don't cry "

I sniff ,I didn't even realize that I'm shedding few tears .

"She is dating samkelo bruh ,why did she choose him ? .I mean yes I also chose lindiwe but my friend?. This shit hurts and I hate the fact that i didn't realize my feelings for her even sooner maybe we would've been together. "

I sniff ,wiping my tears away .my heart is heavy and I'm even depressed because of love !.

"I don't know where will I get someone else to call me lush ,I mean lindiwe doesn't even have a cute nickname for me .ungiqhuzula ngo menzi nje ngathi uyangizala"

Sabelo chuckles then tuts .

"Then what do you want to do menzi ?"

I shrugg my shoulders because I genuinely don't know what to do ,my heart and my mind is confused.

"I really don't know bhuti"

"My advice is if you really love her then fight for her against all odds and challenges. But if she doesn't feel the same way ,let go of her ."

"How bafo ? "

"Well that's for you to know and find out "

He taps my shoulder then gets out ,leaving me with all sorts of questions running around my mind .

MAFUNGWASE

I decided to call samkelo back since I kinda miss him .is it weird to feel bored around a person then miss them when they are away ?

Maybe it's because we are dating and he is my partner so I will miss him eventually.

The phone rings a few times then he answers .I hear shuffling sounds as I'm pacing around my room ,i also don't know why am I pacing around.

"My caramel "

He says at the other end of the call and i sigh .

"Are you okay samkelo?"

"I'm okay baby and you ?"

"I think I'm okay"

"Ohh "

Ohh well that's painful ,couldn't he just pretend as if he cares or try to be soft with me? .if it was.....you know what fuck these guys!

"Such a cold response samkelo "

"You've been ignoring me then you expect me to be soft and lovely dovey with you ?"

"Samkelo you know what you did ,that's why I was ignoring you !"

"Don't raise your small voice on me mafungwase, I'm your man "

"Weeh masimba ,uzo menezisa ebhoshi ayy lakumina ."

"You are still disrespecting me "

"I don't respect a whore of a boy Mina, ungibheke kahle"

I click my tongue then drop the call .uyangisanganela lo ,he first flirts with girls then wants to act like I was wrong for being angry .Uyangidakelwa infact Uyanya !

SAMKELO

She dropped a call on me and I hate that so much .I'm her boyfriend, she supposed to be respectful and loving towards me .I love mafungwase but I hate her disrespectful personality.

I walk in the garage store and I immediately spot menzi .Maybe I should walk to him then greet him ,after all i got the girl that he wanted and that shows that I will always defeat him .

"Menzi"

He turns around and when he spots me ,his eyes immediately turns red meaning that I am making him angry and it's satisfying.

"Samkelo Zulu "

I smug

"Well that's my name"

"What are you doing here?"

"Well to get few things for my girlfriend "

"You mean mafungwase?"

"Ama obvi obvi ,intombi yami leya phela"

"You don't deserve her"

"And you do ? ,kahle bo Romeo. Look I want to invite you for the pool party this upcoming Friday, uze nespantsha sakho .yey uyazithanda izinto ezikhala kahle man!"

"I don't want to "

"Ohh kahle ,mafungwase will be hurt if you don't come .Just come with your girl and we will get to know each other ,okay?"

I tap his shoulder then walk to the snack area.i just want to mark my territory infront of him ,mafungwase is mine and mine alone .
