Chapter 56

Dante

*Isabella got here just in time. She arrived with her own medical team, and they took her . She's inside now being attended by the doctors . They tied her up both her arms and feet are tied up, and there wasn't anything I could say to stop them. Apparently, it was to stabilize her . She was crying so painfully. She doesn't deserve all this . She's the nicest person I have ever met . It breaks my heart seeing her in such a situation. I'm waiting for her to wake up . Isabella called her parents they're also coming. A nurse comes out of her room.*

Dante : How is she?

Nurse : She's still out for now, but we managed to calm her down, and we're also putting her on new meds . The doctor is with her right she'll tell you more .

Dante : Wait , can we go see her ?

Nurse : The doctor will tell you . Now please can you excuse me.

Dante : Did they untie her ?

Nurse : Yes .

*She says,and I nod, then she leaves us. The doctor comes out a few minutes later and permits um and entrance .*

Dante : You guys can go in . I'll get her something to eat so long.

Isabella : Thank you she'd love that .

*I nod and turn to get her all of her favorite food. I get her the wings, vanilla ice cream , some fruits all fresh and cold , her favorite yogurt, and her all-time favorite biscuits . I get that looking pretty and buy her roses to brighten up her day . As soon as I'm done . I change into my casual wear . I'm not going to the office today . I texted Amber to cancel everything for the week . I'm driving back to the hospital again to check on her myself. I park my car and head for her room .*

Dante : Rose's for the girl who holds the keys to my heart .

Jade : Thank you . Isabella went to get our parents.

*I nod sitting down next to her . She pats the space on the bed.*

Jade : Please.

Dante : Why the hell not?

*I get beside her, and she lays her head onto my chest .*

Dante : How are you?

Jade : I'll be good. Doc is changing my meds again . Is the baby okay?

Dante : Yes, she's perfect. Like you .

*She chuckles*

Jade : Do you think she'll be crazy like me?

Dante : Hey , hey, look at me .

*I lift her head to force her to focus her gaze onto my eyes.*

Dante : You're not crazy. Okay ? You're perfect. You're my kind of perfect. My heart desires you and no one else . So what if you almost killed me, which I'm still going to punish you for. So what if you snore a little when you sleep . Maybe abuse me from time to time, but hey . I'm still here, and I'm never going to leave . Hell, if you're crazy then I'm mad . What's wrong with a little crazy in one's life ?

Jade : A bore .

*She says playfully.*

Dante : Exactly . You're my whole lifeline. My ultimate weakness before every other . You're the one I'd willingly risk my life for . You're the only one I let attempt to kill me and still get a freaking hard on at seeing her try . You're the only one. Heck, if you're crazy then I don't mind being there to be crazy with you forever .

Jade : Forever is a long time .

Dante : Forever is a time I want to spend with you. You brighten my life and give it meaning. Before you, I was focused on missions and work always, but then you came in like the light in my shadows that you are and brightens up everything. You made me smile and feel jealous for the first time in my entire existence. I had never been jealous of anything before I met you . You made me obsessed and possessive of you. Now, how the hell do you think I'd live my forever without my obsession?

Jade : I'm just scared.

Dante : Do you trust me ?

Jade : I do .

Dante : Then please just trust me to be your pillar. Your strength as you are mine. Trust me enough to give me your heart again . The times I couldn't touch you. The times when I looked at you and loved you from a distance almost killed me . You're the reason I actually look forward to another day. Remember when you asked me why I went straight to your house the night I was shot ?

Jade : Yes

*She is literally sobbing right now.*

Dante : Stop crying , and your tears break my heart . I came to you because I wanted to see you before anything else. I wanted you to forgive me for breaking your heart so bad. I wanted to tell you how much it shattered my heart when I had to pretend not to feel anything for you. How much you mean to me is something no one has ever meant to be. Not even my brothers, and they're my blood .

Jade : I love you.

Dante : You do ?

Jade : I do so so much, and I never want to lose you ever.

Dante : I have waited for you to say that for a long time now. I love you too. And I promise never to hurt you again . I would never hurt you on purpose.

Jade : Our child.

Dante : We'll be the best parents to our little bundle of joy .
