Jade

*I feel so tired . I don't know what's happening to me. I slowly get up to open the door for Isa . She's here for her daily check-up. As soon as she enters, I start shaking and feel slightly dizzy . I try balancing myself but instantly fall to the floor . I hear her calling my name as I pass out .*

Isabella : She's hasn't woken up yet daddy it's been 3 hours

Bhovungane : Shhh, don't worry, it's probably the medication taking a toll on her again

MaZulu : My lovely babey .

*She says as I hear their faint voices . I want to open my eyes but I can't they feel too heavy . I feel mom's hand brushing over mine and kissing it slowly.*

MaZulu : I love you, baby . You can fight this . You're my strong star.

Bhovungane : Don't cry, my wife . She'll wake up . She always does.

Emma : Seriously, this family is so dramatic . Get up already and show them you're alive

*I hear Emma, but I'm sure no one else can . She's always been a pigment of my imagination.*

Isabella : Let's give her some space .

MaZulu : No , I don't wanna leave her behind. I'm staying here until she wakes up.

Bhovungane : My wife ngiyacela (please) .

Ella : I'll stay behind with her. Please ma leave she wouldn't like seeing you like this.

*I smile at myself before I let sleep take over.*

*I feel like shit. Jade hasn't been taking my calls, and it's driving me crazy. I can't take it anymore . Sam is still fast asleep . I just got back from my daily jog. I don't think I'll be able to face Jade after what I did yesterday.*

Sam : Hey, handsome .

Dante : You're awake . Breakfast will be ready soon .

Sam : Okay, let's go shower.

Dante : Go ahead. I'm right behind you.

Sam : I'm meeting your brother today, right ?

Dante : Yes, hurry up he'll be here soon .

*She rushes upstairs to prepare. Fuck I hope Jade forgive for this. It's just temporary, baby . I release a heavy sigh before heading upstairs for a shower. After we're done and heading down . Alex is already sitted down and fixing his spoons on other folks just the way he likes them.*

Dante : Hey brother. Meet Sam

Sam : Hey

*Alex doesn't extend his hand. he just fixes his glasses and looks back at her.*

Alex : I'm sure you know mine already . I don't lie. I'm shocked to see you here. What are you doing here with my brother ?

*Oh,that's shocking from my brother . I understand that he likes Jade, but to see him this protective. I find myself guilty of what I'm doing to her.*
