On the road, Solwazi suddenly stops the car.

Sindiswa:And now?

Solwazi:My phone is ringing.

Sindiswa:Let Andiswa answer it for you while you drive. There are cars behind us.

Andiswa takes his phone and it was written Phazama.

Andiswa:It's Bab'Phazama.

Sindiswa:Answer him.

She does as told and put him on loudspeaker.

Andiswa:Hello, Solwazi is driving.

Phazama:You need to come back here. All of you.

Andiswa:What why?

Phazama:Something happened. And please don't go any further than you already are now. Stop the car.

His voice carried so much authority and command. He sounded serious. Solwazi stopped the car and parked on the side.

Solwazi:Phazama what is happening that needs us to come back?

Phazama:Just do as I tell you!

He hangs up on them.

Andiswa:Solwazi please keep on driving.

Solwazi:You heard what Phazama said.

Andiswa:So? I don't want to go back to that house.

Solwazi was about to turn the car around and drive back to the royal house when they saw something flying in the car and that caused Sindiswa and Andiswa to scream scared.

Andiswa:What was that!?

She asked shaking with fear.

It registered in Solwazi's mind that that was a bullet. He was about to tell them to get down when another bullet shot through the window.

He started the car and drove away, the car behind them was following them and kept on firing shots.

He was scared, but he needed to be strong for the women in the car.

The car was black and he couldn't see who was shooting, only the arm and the gun.

Sindiswa:Solwazi what is happening!? Why are people shooting at us!?

She asked crying and holding Andiswa dearly while they were hiding down.

Solwazi:I don't know... But don't lift up your heads..…

He managed to lose them and he sighed in relief, but he thought wrong because they appeared again. If he didn't know better, he would think he's the target.

He lost control when he felt a bullet penetrating his shoulder. He cursed.

Andiswa:Solwazi what is happening!?

She was scared but she saw the bullet hitting Solwazi.

Solwazi:I'm fine baby. We are almost there. Call MK.

He passed the phone to her.

With her shaking hands, she called MK and told him what was happening.

The car drew a zigzag on the road, Solwazi was bleeding and losing balance for a bit.

Sindiswa:Solwazi please focus..

Solwazi:I'm try…

The car finally reached them and the person who was shooting got out of the car and went to Solwazi's car.

Solwazi tried to drive but the pain in his shoulder was unbearable. He didn't care about what would happen to him at this point, as long as they spare his mother and his pregnant fiancé.

The person was not wearing a mask, but a hoodie. He opened the door to Solwazi's side and dragged him outside. Andiswa wanted to scream but Sindiswa held her mouth tightly.

Solwazi:Who are you?

He asked weakly.

The guy kicked him and pressed on his wound.

"Futsek!", is what he said before pointing at him with his gun again, getting ready to finish him off.

At the royal house.

Thembeka walks out of the room screaming and crying, that catches the attention of the rest of the family.

Kholo:Thembeka kwenzenjani!? Umsindo omngaka! (Thembeka what is going on!? So much noise!)

Thembeka:Londi... Londi.…

Mangaliso:What happened with my wife?

He didn't wait for an answer but rushed to the room. What he found will stay in his mind forever. His wife was on the floor, with white foam coming out of her mouth.

He saw Phazama getting in the room and he shook his head in pity.

Mangaliso:No... No.... Please don't tell me..…

Phazama:There was nothing to be done. I'm sorry…

He shook his head and crouched down to Londi…

Mangaliso:We can still take her to the hospital... They can save her. Surely you can do something Phazama, please do something. I can't lose my wife like this man.

He touched her and she was so cold and pale.

He dropped his tears and picked her up.

Kholo:Kanti what is happen_

She stopped midway when she saw Mangaliso carrying Londi like that.

They were all shocked.

Lisa:I will drive.

He nodded, he didn't have the strength to argue. He just wanted to get help for his wife.

They walked out.

Kholo:Did she try to commit suicide?

Thembeka sighed sadly. She didn't understand what could make Londi want to kill herself. She thought all was well.

The guy Londi sent was just about to shoot Solwazi when Mkhonto hit him with his car and sent him rolling all over the road. The road was too quiet, which worked in the both parties' favor.

He got out of the car and rushed to Solwazi.

MK:You okay?

Solwazi:Tha..nks for coming…

MK:Anytime, we need to take you to the hospital. That wound looks bad. You are losing so much blood.

He helped him stand up and put his arm over his shoulders and walked with him to the car. He helped him get in..

Solwazi:And... Iswa…

MK went to his(Solwazi) car and opened the door, Andiswa wanted to scream but stopped when he saw MK. She sighed relieved but quickly panicked again.

Andiswa:Where is Solwazi?

MK:He needs medical help. Come.

They got out of the car and went to MK's car.

MK:press on his wound with something. We will be there in no time. Don't let him close his eyes.

Andiswa:Okay.

She took off her jacket and pressed it against Solwazi.

Andiswa:You're going to be okay baby.

This is the first time she was seeing someone shot. And it was scary. But she had hope that Solwazi would live. It was an injury to the shoulder, that's what gave her a bit of hope. If it was on the chest, she would be hopeless.

Mkhonto drove faster rushing to the hospital.

At the hospital where Londi was rushed at.

Mangaliso is quiet and sitting on the bench. He kept on asking himself one question, "why?". Like why would she do something like this? He thought everything was okay. What was it that she was going through that she would try to commit suicide?

Lisa looked at him not knowing what to say or how to comfort him.

Lisa:She will be okay.

He didn't need any comfort right now. He just needs to know if she's alive or not.

"Londiwe Ntuli-Zondo", The doctor shouts and they both rush to her.

Mangaliso:How is she Doc?

The doctor fixes her glasses and takes a deep breath.

Doc:We were unable to save her. I'm sorry but she's gone. She overdosed on dangerous pills.

Mangaliso:She's dead?

He asked not believing, stuck on the same spot.

Doc:I'm sorry. You may see her before she is moved to the morgue.

She walked away. Mangaliso followed her and entered the room where Londi was. She was even covered head to toe like a dead person.

He removed the sheet and looked at her. She looked so peaceful and still.

Mangaliso:Why would you leave me with this kind of pain?

He cried, letting it all out. He doesn't think he will ever get over the death of his wife.
