TEARS OF A ROYAL BLOOD

MKHONTO(MADIDA)

He has taken control for a few hours. He is with Phazama and they are trying to find a way to prevent Solwazi from getting to wherever he's going.

Phazama:He's still alive. The accident didn't hit him.

Madida:I'll be damned.

Phazama:I feel helpless. I can't do anything.

Madida:That boy will find Ntuli's descendants and he will give the throne back to them. After I have worked so hard to ensure it belongs to us. I need to take full control of this body for a few days. This one is just useless.

Phazama:Okay I can make that happen...

ZIZIPHO.

She wishes she could go back to Durban now. She had so much peace back there. And her father’s death hit her pretty hard but there's just something missing, she knows she should be sad and heartbroken but it only lasted for a while.

She sighs and goes to her mother who was cooking.

All the wives were wearing mourning clothing.

Zizipho:Hey moms.

Sindiswa:Help me here.

Zizipho:Khethi just asked me a weird question, you know?

Sindiswa:She's still older than you.

Zizipho:Okay mam'Khethi asked me if Solwazi really likes boys. She says she overheard him.

Sindiswa:Why was she asking that?

Zizipho:I don't know. I don't trust that one. Especially since she didn't get anything, I have a feeling she's up to something. I'll keep an eye out for her.

Sindiswa:You're just exaggerating.

Zizipho:I’m not. There's something fishy about that girl.

MADIDA

It feels good to be walking, well it's not him, but yeah it's good to walk. The sun outside is hitting his body so warmly.

He looks around the royal house and it's still the same as he can remember, just that it has been re-designed and new paint was added. But it's the same walls that have been been standing since Ntuli was the king. Until he came and took that away from him.

Does he regret it? No.

Ntuli deserved to have his kingdom taken away from him.

He didn't understand back then why there are people who would have royal blood and why they were treated differently than the rest of them. What was so special about them? Because blood is red for everyone.

It wasn't jealousy as most people explain it. He was mainly taking what his family deserved. Because after that, his family`s status changed. Everyone respected them, and treated them with respect and dignity. He made sure that the throne remains with Zondo’s.

The witchdoctor that was helping him told him years later when his(MADIDA) had grown sons ready to take over, he told him that the Ntuli ancestors are not happy and they want to fight for what belongs to them. They would target the first born son of the "king", because he would be the one to give them back their throne.

He saw that would bring troubles, so he made his second born to be king. That's how it has been done from generations to generations, the second born gets to be king…

In this case, Solwazi should be king because he's the second born of the king, but his heart is too pure. He would never allow this to happen. That's the downside of being evil, nothing remains constant. There is no manual. Things change.

The only thing that gives him solace is that Mkhonto comes from the second wife, and the way he was conceived was not natural. His mother manipulated things. Polygamy started with Qhawe, it has never been practiced before in their family. That's why things are upside down with his(Qhawe) offsprings.

Solwazi could just end this whole thing. He is not surprised that he is protected, he also felt that calm and peaceful aura around him. Even the way he talks, his voice has so much authority.

Right now, he doesn't know where he went and who told him what. If he finds out who the throne really belongs to, he will want to do the right thing. It's the destiny of the first borns, they are pushed into doing the right thing. The past sons have been blind because no one knew the throne held such a secret. But Solwazi is about to be their doom..

The throne can't be given back to the Ntulis. He would burn in eternal hell..

He sees Mkhonto's wife coming towards him and he quickly composes himself…

Lisa:Hi, I'm telling you that I'm leaving today. I'm tired of you Mkhonto. I'm not your punching bag. If you stop me just know that I will make you trend. Don't try to stop me.…

She said angrily and walked away.. Good thing. She will be a distraction to Mkhonto.

SOLWAZI

He has been trying to get a car that would take him back home. Home in Durban. His number one mission is to find the Ntuli family, and he can't do that at home. Seeing Mkhonto or Madida, he will just strangle them and give away that he knows the truth. He needs to tread carefully with this. Starting with bringing back his mother and sister. His soul won't be at peace knowing he left them there.

He sees a car driving towards him and he gets towards it.

The person on the driver's side gets out and he laughs. His best friend.

Solwazi:I will punch your teeth out.

Luyanda:My man, what brings you here?

Solwazi:My car got squashed by a truck and I need to get to Durban.

Luyanda:No worries. Hop in.

They get inside and Luya starts driving.

Solwazi calls his mother.

Sindiswa:Lwazi I have been trying to call you. When are you coming back?

Solwazi:Mom I am fine. I need you and Zee to come back to Durban. I'm driving there.

Sindiswa:Haibo Solwazi we are mourning nje.

Solwazi:I know but please trust me.

Sindiswa:I'll always trust you my son. I'll tell Zizipho to pack our things.

Solwazi:Thank you, have the royal guard drive you. It's still early you can make it.

Sindiswa:Okay. Bye.

He hangs up.

Luyanda:What's happening? You don't look okay.

Solwazi:I just found out that my family is not royalty, they stole the throne from another family decades ago.

Luyanda whistles shaking his head.

Solwazi:And now I need to find this family and give them back what belongs to them.

Luyanda:You think your brother will allow that? I saw that guy, he emphasized everywhere that he's king.

Solwazi:MK doesn't scare me. It's that spirit inside him that's making him act like this.

Luyanda:Ayyy royal affairs. I'm glad I'm a commoner...

Solwazi:I'm going to need your help finding the Ntulis.

Luyanda:I have your back, always.

He smiled faintly. Luyanda has been his friends since they were twenty years old. They met in varsity. They have been through a lot together, they have got in trouble together, partied together, did everything together.

At Nqoboka Kingdom.

Sindiswa and Zizipho are loading their things in the car and getting ready to go back to Durban. The time was almost 6pm, but Solwazi said they need to come back today. Zizipho is not complaining because she has been wanting to go back, but scared to ask...

Sindiswa:Are you sure you have everything?

Zizipho:Yep, let me go and lock.

She hurries to lock the house and comes back.

Zizipho:We can go now.

Madida walks towards them. But they only see Mkhonto, because they don't know he's still possessed.

Madida:Where are you two going?

Sindiswa frowns. Has he lost respect?

Zizipho:Durban, my brother said we should go back.

Madida quietly thought about that. He called them back to Durban?

Madida:And where is he?

Zizipho:I don't know.

Madida:Well no one is going anywhere. Guards take these bags inside the house.

The guards stand confused.

Madida:Did I stutter!?

He shouts at them.

Zizipho:Bhuti what are you doing? Leave us alone...

She says putting the bags back inside the car. Madida twists her arm painfully and throws her in the ground.

Sindiswa tries to fight for her daughter but Madida slaps her. She gasps and holds her cheek.

Sindiswa:Mkhonto did you just slap me!!!?

Kholo:What is going on here?

She asks running to them.

Madida:No one is going anywhere. Take them to the royal prison!

He said to the guards and they dragged Sindiswa and Zizipho away.
