Mbali and Luyanda just left and it's 8pm in the evening. Im just happy that now in experiencing my pregnancy with my sisters from other mothers. Trust me, I did apologize to Mbali's mom for the insults and being the sweet woman she is. She accepted my apology. Nkanyezi texted me saying he's on his way and I miss him so much, I haven't seen him for the entire day.

I'm sitting in the lounge on a birthing ball to relieve my back pain because it's doing the most right now. I'm counting down just 48 hours then I'll be going into labour because this day is already over, I'm not including it. My back is doing the most right now. I hear the door open and I move my eyes from the TV to the door. He enters holding so many plastics and paper bags.

“And then?” I ask him, he closes the door and places them on the counter, he sighs and places his hands over his waist.

“I'm so tired..” He says walking towards me, he leans over and plants a kiss on my lips.

“What did you buy?” I ask him.

“Groceries, we must restock..” He says, i nod and he plans another kiss on my lips. He kisses my belly and then throws himself on the couch.

“Damn I'm tired, what are you watching?” He asks.

“Just a show.. I had nothing else to watch.” I say, he nods and glares at me.

“What were you guys up to today? I hope you didn't lift up a finger.” He says, i chuckle.

“Nothing much, just watching movies and packing baby girl's stuff upstairs” I say.

“Hmm? I'll go check it out before I go sleep. I hope it's the way i wanted it to be.” He says, I nod.

“Relax, it's very nice. We're just left with adding our photos on the walls and her name as well.” I say.

“We'll do the name when she's here because now they're gonna see the name and the reveal will be ruined.” He says.

“I have no problem with that.” I say, he nods and pulls my hand. He's gonna make me fall.

“My back hurts, so bad. Even the shower didn't help, so I thought this ball was my last option.” I say.

“Did you get the bath soak in when you were bathing?” He asks, I shake my head.

“I forgot but I also got some vitamins.” I say, he nods and kisses my hand.

“Do you want food or snacks? I got your cake, pineapples and watermelon.” He says.

“You didn't get mangoes?” I ask him.

“There are also mangoes, i won't forget them at all.” He says, I smile. I'm gonna eat all night because my favourites are here. I've been eating mangoes, pineapples and watermelons throughout my pregnancy until the end.

“Thank you..” I say, he winks at me and I smile.

“You're welcome ma'am..” He says. I try standing up but I'm unable to. He stands up and pulls me up.

“I understand the situation..” He says and I roll my eyes. I take one step and I feel my heart sinking.

“What is it?” He asks, I stare at him. I don't know..was that?

“Sbani?” He calls me out, I look down.

“I could've sworn that was my water breaking..” I say, he widens his eyes and opens his mouth wide in shock.

“What?” He asks tracing his eyes on the floor, there's water on the floor. My heart starts beating fast.

“Oh sh-t..” He says, there's literally water flowing down my thighs right now. Sweet baby Jesus why are you doing this to me?

“Are you in pain?” He asks, I shake my head.

“Not really..” I'm not in pain but my heart is raising. No, I don't think I'm mentally prepared for this or am I? oh my mind is spinning.

“Please call my mother..I don't know but call her.” He nods and reaches out for my phone. I leave him there and walk upstairs, I'm not feeling any pain though..just back pains and they've subsided right now.

I walk into the bedroom and head straight to the en suite. I wipe off some of the liquid on my legs..

“Sbani?” He calls out for me.

“I'm in the bathroom..” I say opening the door as he walks in, why is he sweating?

“Are you sure you're not in any pain? your mother said if you're not experiencing any pains right now then we shouldn't be worried.” He says, I nod.

“I'm not in any pain, I swear.” I say, he nods and watches me throw the tissue in the toilet. I flush it and wash my hands.

“Let's go..” I say as we walk out of the en suite..

“Maybe I should sleep, yeah I shoulr sleep.” I say turning to glare at him. He's literally standing behind me.

“Sleep? your water just broke.” He says, I nod.

“But I'm not in any pain njena?so what's the use of panicking?” I ask him, he heaves a sigh.

“Don't make me anxious please, let's go to the hospital so we can know what's going on.” He says, he clearly didn't hear me. My phone rings again, I reach out for it. It's still my mother, I answer the call.

“Hey mommy..” I say.

“Are you okay?” She asks.

“I'm okay.” I say.

“If you don't have any pains then i suggest you go to the hospital tomorrow and please when you go, notify me so I can drive there.” She says

“Yes, I will call you.” I say.

“How is he? he sounded worried over the phone.” She says, I laugh a bit.

“He's fine, he's anxious nje.” I say glaring at Christopher who's going through his phone.

“You're way too calm for my liking, this is your first child and she might pop out at anytime tomorrow“ She says.

“Ma what's the use of panicking? nothing's gonna change with this situation. I'm still gonna have to do this either way, anxious or not.” I say.

“You're a big girl yazi, you surprise me now.” She says.

“I know, I surprise myself too.” I say.

“I'll call you tomorrow morning, sleep well.” She says.

“Sleep well as well, i love you.” I say, she says it back before I hang up and place my phone on the bedside table. I'm so ready to sleep..

“Let's sleep..” I say, he glares at me.

“Are you sure?” He asks, I nod walking to the closet and taking out my pajamas. I turn around and find him standing behind me.

“You scared me! what's wrong with you?” I ask walking past him.

“I can't laave you alone for a good seconr..” He says, I shake my head. Again, I don't get the drama. Why should I panick?
