WRITTEN IN THE STARS: SEASON 2 04

SBANISENKOSI

She glares at Adrianna then back at Christopher, she is the ex. I don't need anyone's confirmation.

“Friend what were you saying about the dress? come on. Let me go and help you..” Adrianna says pulling her away as they walk off.

“Please don't be upset, she's just an ex.” He says glaring at me, I shake my head and chuckle.

“I'm also an ex Nkanyezi, why is there a need for me to be upset?” I ask him, he sighs.

“Stop that thing of you being my ex seriously, It's not funny.. you're not my ex.” He says planting a kiss on my lips.

“Okay?” He says, I nod and he plants another kiss on my lips. He grabs the slice of watermelon and feeds it to me.

“Will we talk?” He asks, I nod.

“Can we talk after all she gets here? I'm all over the place right now.” I say, he nods and kisses my cheek. I glare at Adrianna who's walking towards us.

“Brother, Sbani..I'm really sorry. I know that you and Melo have some type of history and things might be awkward.” She says, yeah right..

“It's fine, we were together 3 years back. We've moved on, I'd like to think so.” He says holding my hand. She smiles and nods.

“I can't wait for the little one to arrive, finally I'm not gonna be the only girl here.” She says and walks off.

“I'm being honest, I'm not feeling your sister.” I say, he chuckles.

“That's okay, there's nothing wrong with that.” He says rubbing my hand, I wince a bit.

“Is she gonna be a soccer player or something? Her kicks are that of a boy..” i say, he laughs and places his hands on my belly feeling the kicks.

“She's gonna be a strong one..” He says kissing her belly.

“You think? I don't want her to be sensitive.” I say, he smiles.

“I have a feeling that she's gonna be a strong little girl. Trust me..” He says, I glare at the corner of the house and see the same girl that was just here right now staring at us. What the hell?

“I don't want to give birth at this party Nkanyezi, save me.” I say, he glares at me confused.

“What do you mean?” He asks.

“We're being watched, she's like literally standing by the wall glaring at us.” I say, he turns back and glares at her. She immediately walks away in a rush, he frowns and shakes his head.

“Don't pay any attention to her, focus on yourself..” He says, I sigh and continue eating. After some time, everyone starts gathering in the backyard preparing for the party.

“Alexander is late..” Nkanyezi says trying to call him, my own heart is beating fast because of Luyanda. These girls will kill me with a heart attack sooner than I think..

“Maybe he's on his way and he got held up by something.” I say, he nods. There's a special chair placed at the front and I'm thinking that it's Adrianna's chair. Her friends are seated at the front, clearly seeking attention because they're flipping their hair all over the place and taking videos with their phones up in the air.

“Sbani my baby, have this juice. It's actually hot, I'll organize an umbrella for you..” Mrs Biyela says, I nod and grab the juice.

“Thank you ma.” I say, she nods and walks off.

“You should tell me if you're uncomfortable, we'll go sit inside..” He says brushing my thigh, I nod.

“I'll tell you..” I say.

“Alexander you're so late!” I hear Adrianna talking loudly, we both look behind us and my heart stops.

“We're here now..” He says holding Luyanda's hand, I feel Nkanyezi's hand leaving mine, oh God..

“Grab a spot near Chris over there..you and your guest.” She says, Luyanda shifts her eyes to me and I raise my eyebrow..

“Come..” He says pulling her hand and they walk towards our direction, I glare at Alexander and he shakes his head sitting besides Christopher who's glaring straight at him.

“What do you think you're doing?” He asks him, Nkanyiso shrugs.

“It's our sister's 22rd birthday, let's make it worth a while. Please...” He says, Christopher glares at me and I shake my head.

“I don't know anything..” I say, he heaves a sigh and faces forward, oh Luyanda.. what are you doing? I would've honestly advised her to keep this things of hers with Nkanyiso private just until they reach a certain point but then I've stopped telling people what to do and what not to do with their lives. They're more than welcome to do what they want. I have stuff to focus on as of now.

“Please don't do anything, just let them be.” I say brushing his arm, he sighs.

“I'm a working progress, I don't want to interfere in his life but with your friend? the same one wh..” He doesn't even finish his sentence before he sighs again.

“Let's drop it..” He says, I heave a sigh. Ever since his dad got arrested I've never heard him talk about him. . . The party is going well so far, they sang a happy birthday song for her and she cut the cake..blah blah blah, now everyone is dishing up for themselves. The perfect time for me to speak to Luyanda. I stand up and walk towards her, she's still standing with Alex. I reach them and they both glare at me.

“Is he mad?” He asks.

“I think it's best you ask me for yourself, I don't want to dictate anything.” I say and glare at Luyanda.

“Let's go..” I say pulling her away as we walk inside, I lead her to the lounge and we sit.

“And then?” I ask her.

“I'm just his +1, nothing much..” She says.

“Luyanda!” I say gasping.

“Nothing happened between us, he just kissed me last night and I suddenly agreed on everything he kept on saying. I'm here now..” She says.

“oh my God..” I say shaking my head.

“He's actually a very nice guy, I'm just afraid to give him a chance.” She says, I sigh.

“I'm not judging you or dictating how you should live your life. I'm way past that life.” I say.

“So even if I give him a chance, you won't judge me?” She asks, I shake my head.

“I'm now better than that, you're both old enough to make your own decisions so it's fine.” I say, she sighs.

“Okay, you look gorgeous by the way mommy dearest.” She says, I chuckle.

“And you look even more gorgeous, i love your makeup.” I say, she smiles.

“Thank you, this house is actually cool. People outside have money shame, their dressing says it.” She says.

“Nkanyezi's ex girlfriend is here..” I say, she widens her eyes.

“WHAT!?” She says, I sigh and nod.

“She's here and she's being a monitoring spirit.” i say.

“So why haven't you reacted or anything? that's an ex Sbani!” She says.

“I'm also his ex so what's different between us? besides I'm not a straatmate anymore. I can't be exposing my daughter to such.. she hasn't even been born and I'm going around fighting? not cool. I'm keeping it cool..” I say resting my chin on my hand.

“This is crazy, if it was the good old times then we would've turned this house upside down.” She says and we laugh.

“We're outgrowing some stuff and I'm really proud of us.” I say, she nods.

“Yeah..” She says, Adrianna and her "friend" walk into the lounge, God help your children.

“Hi can we sit? I mean of course we can sit, this is my parents' house.” She says, I frown. They sit down..

“So, quick introduction. I'm Adrianna, Christopher and Alexander's half sister then this is my best friend Nicole. Christopher's ex.” She says, I hear Luyanda chuckle. The disrespect!

“So he finally stopped having a loose dìck huh? he finally scored and now he's expecting a baby. Wow..” This Nicole says, I glare at Luyanda. God must just tell me if he wants me to give birth right now.

“Excuse me, I need the bathroom..” I say standing up.

“Wait for me, I need to do my makeup kancane nami.” Luyanda says following me. If it was a few months back then I would've long removed that wig she has on, she looks so young. We're not agemates bandla yoh? I'm about to have a baby for God's sake.
