I woke up to Mshibe staring at me. He shakes his head and walks out. My phone is ringing.. I draw it under the pillow as sleepy as I am. It's Five o'clock now. Then I realized my half past four alarm woke the wrong person. I set my alarm for a 5 minute snooze. I can only imagine how it's been ringing. I didn't hear. I'm a lost case. He wakes up at five and today he was 30 minutes early.

I head to the ensuite bathroom, wash my face and brush my teeths. I put a robe on top then head to Aya. My boy is awake and eating his toes. He didn't cry “Hey baby” I say softly, he smiles innocently. I check his diaper and damn, it's worse.
