Izulu lami Chapter 19

Durban skies and unexpected feelings

4 min read 19 of 51

The weather had finally settled. Durban weather is so depressing
one minute it's hot, then the next pula e a na kwa godimo. Urghh.
Now it's raining nonstop.

I decided to stay indoors today, just sleep in, maybe even watch a movie or two. I miss my little sister Charlie. I'm definitely giving my mom a video call later for a catch-up session.

After stepping out of the shower, I slipped into my PJs again (ke tlhapile hle). I just wanted to be comfy. I took out my laptop to check emails, sipping on my tea.

Lately, I've been thinking of applying for internships. It's my final year next year, and since I won't have too many classes, I'll have time to work while studying.

Then one email caught my eye my results!
"Oh my word," I whispered just as I heard Nomhle screaming next door.
