SIXTEEN

**GIGI**

.

I wasn't completely blacked out in my whole play but it looked so real. Bokang and Pulane came rushing to my aid and tried to lift up my head. I really hit the floor hard and I knew I'd suffer the consequences later. Ma also came running and she and Pulane picked me up to the couch because Bokang couldn't. They sprinkled my face with cold water and I slowly came back to my normal self

BK: I think we should get you to the doctor

Me: I'll be fine. I just felt a bit dizzy and I must have missed a step

BK: What if something is wrong with the baby?

Me: I said I'm fine, Bokang. After all, you said you don't care

BK: That's not exactly what I said

Me: What did you say, Bokang?

BK: You're going to the doctor tomorrow morning

Me: I said I'm fine

BK: Okay then what can I do to make you comfortable?

Me: I just don't need the stress because it's not good for the baby

BK: Okay take it easy then

Pulane: I think I'll just go to bed

BK: Okay baby I'll be with you shortly. I need to make sure she's fine for real

She kissed him and walked away. Bokang sat next to me and covered my feet with the blanket they were using. I loved how his hands were all over me and it was all coming alright.

Me: My head is pounding

BK: What can I get for you?

Me: I have painkillers in my drawer I'll take them when I go to bed

BK: You must have fallen hard

Me: I think so too

BK: Let me take you to bed then

Me: Stay with me for a few minutes while I regain my strength

BK: Okay that's fine. A few more minutes won't hurt I guess

I stretched my legs and put them on his lap. He didn't even have a problem with it and maybe because he was still worried about me and the baby. We stayed for a few minutes and then he accompanied me to my bedroom. He undid my bed while I changed into my sleepwear and then he made sure I was comfortable under the blankets.

BK: Will you be fine?

Me: I'll call you if I need anything

BK: Okay take it easy. Goodnight then

Me: Goodnight daddy

I caressed his cheek before he walked out of my room and switched off the light

**BOKANG**

I got to my bedroom and took of my clothes. Pulane was already in bed and she was facing the other way quietly. She'd normally turn if she hears me come in but this time she didn't so I tried to turn her

.

Pulane: I'm sleeping

Me: No you're not

Pulane: What took you so long?

Me: I needed to make sure she's fine

Pulane: Mmh!

Me: Baby please don't be like this

Pulane: Like what?

Me: Moody

Pulane: I'm not moody

Me: Baby look at me when I'm talking to you

Pulane: I need her gone, Bokang

Me: She'll go baby I promise

Pulane: She's a pain in the ass and you know it

.

I grabbed her ass and kissed her neck

Pulane: Stop touching me like that I want to sleep

Me: I miss you baby come ride me

Pulane: Not tonight

Me: We haven't done anything since I came back baby and I'm feeling strong tonight

Pulane: I'm not in the mood

Me: Why not?

Pulane: Bokang please stop touching my ass

Me: Fine, Pulane have it your way. I guess I'll just sleep with an erection

Pulane: You won't die

She pulled up the blanket and covered her face. We slept facing opposite directions and I didn't even try to touch her again that night.

**PULANE**

I woke up the next morning before Bokang and sneaked out of bed. I needed to confront Gigi about her sinister plans and I couldn't let Bokang hear me get out. I went to her bedroom but she wasn't there. Her bed was still not done so I figured she had went to the toilet or something so I sat down and waited for her. It wasn't long before she came back and she was shocked to see me in her room

Gigi: What are you doing here?

Me: I wanted to talk

Gigi: About what?

Me: I can see you're up to no good and I need to know what it is

Gigi: Oh please

Me: What are you trying to do?

Gigi: What do you think? I'm trying to give Bokang an opportunity to be in his baby's life

Me: Really? Is that coffee I'm smelling?

Gigi: Yeah so?

Me: Aren't you pregnant?

Gigi: I was craving it

Me: I'm pretty sure I saw you the other day drinking wine

Gigi: So? It's my baby not yours

Me: I don't think you'd want to endanger the baby's life since you're so desperate to get Bokang back

Gigi: What are you insinuating?

Me: If I didn't know better I'd say you're not even pregnant

Gigi: Rubbish

Me: Then why are you delaying the whole doctor's appointment thing?

Gigi: What is it to you?

Me: So I am right?

Gigi: You're sick in the head

Me: Maybe, maybe not

Her phone rang and it was on the bed. I looked at it and it was written "John". Our eyes met when she realized I knew it was thee John since I knew his numbers by heart because he was once a pain in my ass. I grabbed the phone and jumped to the other side of the bed and she tried to catch me, dropping her cup of coffee to the floor. We started fighting for the phone and screaming until Bokang heard us and rushed into the bedroom. She grabbed Gigi and pulled her off me. By then, the phone was no longer ringing

BK: What the hell is going on here?

Pulane: She's communicating with John

Gigi: She tried to kill me and by baby that's why I was trying to fight her

BK: Wait what the hell is going on?

Pulane: Tell her to show you her phone

Gigi: No

BK: Give me your phone

Gigi: I'm not doing that

Pulane: John was calling her. She's a snake, Bokang

.

He grabbed the phone from her and forced her finger on the fingerprint sensor then it unlocked I got up from the floor and I wanted to see everything that was going on in her phone then a whatsapp messages popped up from John saying "the poison is ready"
