My body was in pain when I woke up in the morning. Pulane was still sleeping peacefully and I didn't want to wake her up so I quietly got out of bed and went downstairs.

Me: Good morning

Ma: Good morning papa

Gigi: Morning daddy. What would you like for breakfast?

Me: I'm still fine

Ma: Did you sleep well?

Me: I was in pain but nothing I can't handle

Gigi: Come sit next to me

Me: When is your next appointment?

Gigi: Appointment?

Me: Yeah your appointment with the gynae

Gigi: Oh I'm not sure but I'll check my diary

Me: I want to be there

Gigi: I don't think that's necessary because you're still recovering and you need bed rest

Me: I'm fine, Gigi

Gigi: Oh okay I'll let you know then

Ma: How's Pulane feeling today?

Me: She's still sleeping, why?

Ma: She wasn't feeling okay yesterday

Me: She didn't tell me that she's sick

Ma: She was throwing up yesterday

Me: Really? But why didn't she tell me?

Gigi: Maybe because she's just looking for attention

Me: Why would she look for attention when I'm already giving her all my attention?

Gigi: You should be focusing on our baby

Me: When are you leaving?

Gigi: Well ...

Me: I'm fine now and I think it's time you left

Gigi: After Christmas

Me: Shouldn't you be spending time with your family?

I poured myself a glass a juice and sat on the couch. Pulane shortly joined us

Pulane: Good morning

Ma: Morning baby

Me: Good morning my love. How did you sleep?

Pulane: I slept fine knowing you're right next to me

Gigi: Arg please

Me: Baby why didn't you tell me that you're not feeling okay yesterday?

Me: Because I didn't want to worry you and it was nothing serious

Gigi: Attention seeker

Me: Will you shut up, Gigi? No one is talking to you

Gigi: Come on, Bokang. Can't you see what she's doing?

Me: I don't care what she does. She stills comes first no matter what

Gigi: Even before our baby?

Me: Yes even before our baby. Pulane is here to stay and it's about time you start respecting her because whatever she says goes

Gigi: I thought you said you're fine when I offered

Gigi stood up and walked out of the room. We had breakfast and Pulane helped me shower as I couldn't wash my back because of the pain. She then dressed my wound and we went to sit outside in the garden while we fed each other fruits

Me: You know I'm really pissed that the police haven't said anything

Pulane: Are you surprised? I mean look at what happened to my grandma and still they haven't said anything

Me: It's messed up

Pulane: You know Ma thought your father is involved

Me: What? How because he's not in the country?

Pulane: I don't know

Me: What happened showed me that life is short and I need to cherish the little moments we spend together

Pulane: I can't believe I almost lost you

Me: I'll always be here baby

We sat for hours and talked

I couldn't stand the two of them laughing and having fun outside so I had to come up with plan B. I decided to call John for a meetup and he agreed. We met after an hour in town

John: You really need to stop calling me for secret meetings

Me: Your men did a sloppy job and now I don't know how to fix the mess

John: What do you want me to do?

Me: I need something quick and effective

John: Something like what?

Me: Poison

He laughed at me like I was crazy or something

John: Wait you're serious?

Gigi: Like a heart attack

John: But it'll be obvious

Gigi: That's why I need you to find me something that's quick and untraceable

John: I'm not a doctor, Gigi

Gigi: Make a plan, Johnny

John: Why don't you just kill her yourself?

Gigi: And lose Bokang?

John: I'll see what I can do then

Gigi: He wants to accompany me to the gynae and I don't know what to do

John: You want me to buy the doctor too?

I went back home and I couldn't wait to eliminate her. She was all over Bokang and I hated it because it should have been me. They were watching TV and cuddling and I just passed them

BK: Hey G aren't you gonna join us?

Me: No

BK: Look I've been thinking, since you're no longer in Joburg I thought it'll be best if you see another gynae

Me: Why?

BK: To cut the distance

Me: I like my own gynae

BK: Okay then have you checked your diary yet?

Me: Not yet

BK: What's the delay?

Me: Give me a breather, Bokang

BK: What's the matter with you?

Me: Ever since you woke up from the hospital you've never asked how I am? This whole thing affected me too but all you care about is her

BK: Of course all I care about is her. You killed our baby the last time and I'm not going to get my hopes up this time for something that might disappoint me

Me: I didn't make this baby on my own and I'm sick of being put second

BK: If you have a problem with me putting my woman first then there's the door. I don't remember inviting you to my house so pack your things and go

Me: Oh is this how you want it to be?

Me: Wow!

Pulane: Calm down both of you, please

BK: No baby. She needs to be put in her place because she's getting too big for her shoes

My heart was pounding fast and I needed to up my game. I couldn't watch her get all the attention so I faked it all and pretended to faint.
