ASANTE : MY FATHER’S DEBT .

PROLOGUE .

she’s walking home alone with her heels in her hands ‚ she’s feeling cold in her small skirt . she hears sounds of people arguing ‚ she decides to follow the sounds & she sees a man on his knees begging for mercy .

“i promise i’ll pay you .”

“you’ve been saying that for the past six months .”

“please don’t kill me ‚ i have a family. ”

“do i care ?”

he cocked his gun & shot him on his chest ‚ asante gasped & the man turned ‚ they saw her .

“GET HERE .” he ordered .

asanted didn’t waste time she ran for her life ‚ it started raining making it hard for her to see . she didn't stop running ‚ someone held her . she started screaming ‚ he placed his hand on her mouth & took her into a shelter nearby .

[muffled screaming]

the man removed his hand & looked at asante ‚ her heart was racing & she was shivering .

“relax i won’t hurt you .”

asante : no you are one of the bad guys .

“no i’m not .”

he took off his jacket & gave it to asante ‚ she took it & wore it .

“where are you going ?"

asante : i’m going home .

“where’s home ?”

asante : “you see the farmhouse three blocks from here ?”

“sure .”

he held her hand & they walked to asante’s home ‚ they arrived after a few minutes . she handed him the jacket .

asante : thank you.

“no problem.”

she ran inside & closed the door ‚ the mysterious man smiled then walked away .

she took off her wet skirt & top then took a shower & wore her pyjamas . her mother walked in .

asante’s mom : we have to talk .
