[NARRATIVE]

Connie and Jackson traveled to Johannesburg for the burial of Nolifa and Dr Nkosi. Nolifa's story touched a lot of people. After surviving a man who violated her she fell into the arms of the one who took her life. It all shows how unfair life can be. She just wanted to be loved, instead she kept falling into the hands of wrong men. Even Dr Nkosi who claimed to love her was the reason she was killed.

Her mother kep fainting at the funeral she had to be taken to the hospital. She blames herself for everything that happened to her daughter. If she was there for her, she was never going to go looking for her father. They never got a chance to fix their relationship. She failed her and will live with that for the rest of her life.

Dr Nkosi was described as good and selfless man who helped a lot of people escape their emotional pain. Before he killed himself a wrote a heartfelt letter for Nolifa expressing much he loved her and how he wishes she can forgive him for how he handled things.

After the long and emotional weekend Connie and Jackson are at their hotel room lying in bed holding each other. After everything that happened this year, they are grateful they still have each other. They've carried eachother through the pain and heartache. They've only grown stronger together.

"I've finally decided on where we are going for our honeymoon" She says stroking his beard while he plays with the strands of her hair.

"Where?"

"Rome" she says with a smile "I wanted to go to London but I know when my family finds out we're coming there, we will not enjoy our honeymoon. We will be hopping house to house for dinner until we come back. They are very fond of you, I don't know what you said to them" Jackson smiles.

"You don't know why they are fond of me?" he asks cupping her face and staring into her hazel green eyes. She's smiling.

"I know" he smiles and kisses her "And I love you for that" she says against his lips. Jackson holds her eyes and looks at her for a long extended moment. He remembers that first day they met, it feels like a long time ago. He had no idea things would turn into what they are now. It was all a dream. It seemed impossible that a woman like her would choose him. An ordinary taxi driver from KwaDukuza. But here he is today about to make her his wife. She has given him a son. She loves his daughter like her own. There's really nothing more he can ask for in this world. The lord above has blessed him abundantly. He's not only blessed, he's divinely favoured.

"I love you more" she kisses him. He deepens the kiss and brings her leg over him. He pulls out his already hard çoçk and enters her wet püssy slowly. He starts moving while staring into her eyes. Connie holds his face as moans escapes her lips. She has complete love for this man. Nothing in this world will ever make her stop loving him, no challenge or hardship will ever be greater than the love she has for him.

Vusi opens the door letting Nokwanda inside. He didn't think she would come "Can I get you anything to drink?" Nokwanda shakes her head looking around the room. It's clean. It's unlike the Vusi she knows who is a slop "Ok, you can sit on the bed" he says gesturing her with a smile.

"I'm not here to stay, so say what you want to say I have to get back home"

"I understand but please sit down" Nokwanda sighs and takes a sit. Vusi grabs a chair and sits in front of her. He takes in a deep breath "I know I've hurt you Muntuza. It was stupid of me to ask you to abort our child. I was afraid Mahlathini would fire me when he finds out I've gotten you pregnant. That was very selfish of me and I apologize" Nokwanda snorts.

"I know you're apologising because you want Mahlathini to give you your job back. You don't care Vusi. You have kids all over the country that you're not supporting that's how much of a bastard you're. I'm just glad I came out of this without HiV. As for the child I'm carrying, I will raise her with love so she never falls in the hands of men like you" She clicks her tongue and stands up.

"Muntuza, please!" he grabs her "I don't deserve you, I know that. But I'm trying to figure things out and be a better man. I want to take responsibility for my past mistakes-"

"You're desparate. I can see it in your eyes. You don't mean any of the things you're saying it's just desparation talking. You made me your fool once and I will not fall into your trap again. Because I know for a fact once you get your job back you will go back to your whoring ways. Men like you never change"

"So you're going to let me starve?" Nokwanda laughs.

"You did this to yourself. Don't include me in your problems, please" she opens the door. Vusi grabs her and kisses her. He gets a hot slap in return. Nokwanda walks out and slams the door.

"FΓΊck" he kicks the corner of the bed. He has no plan now. Absolutely nothing.

He grabs his phone and dials a number.

"Sure Ndoda, is that brick laying job available?" he asks

"It is, yini? the pride is gone?" Msenti laughs

"Fokof, come get me tomorrow"

"Sure boyza" he cuts the call and tosses the phone on the bed. This is what his life has come to, he just has to accept and do whatever it takes to put bread on the table.

It's the day of the ceremony kwaJama. Nobuhle's request was finally accepted. The Ndlazi family brought the goat in the early hours of the morning. The apology was passed to the uncerstors and the goats was slaughtered emsamo. The ceremony wasn't supposed to something big but the village people never got that memo. The yard is buzzing. Mahlathini had to take money out of his own pocket and go buy meat at the buchery so all these people can eat.

Mnqobi has been moody since mornin. Coshiwe says it's because of the people. A child can easily pick up bad spirits and all those things people carry with them, so Connie has been in the nursery the whole day keeping an eye on him. Mahlathini doesn't want his son being exposed to bad spirits.

The food is about to be served and Mahlathini has to make sure everyone is served. Gebhu who should be doing all of this is already drunk.

"Baba ka Thando!" Nobuhle calls walking over to him. She has her head bowed "I was hoping to have a word with you" she says her eyes on his feet.

"Alright, give me a minute" he orders one of the security guys to release more alcohol from the cold room. After he's done he turns to Nobuhle who has been waiting for him "Is everything okay?"

"Yebo Jama. I just wish to be introduced to Thando. I tried but I don't know how to approach her and tell her I'm her mother. I was hoping you can be present with me" Mahlathini is silent for a moment.

"Ok. Come" he says and leads her into the house. All the kids are in the living room where they are eating and playing. Thando sees her father and runs to him. Mahlathini picks her up.

"Daddy we want I've cream"

"You want?" she quickly covers her mouth as if she just realised something.

"Daddy, can we please have ice cream, Thank you" Mahlathini smiles.

"That's my girl. We'll come back and have it. First I need to talk to you about something serious" She nods.

Nobuhle follows behind them as they make their way to the nursery room where Connie is. Mnqobi is finally sleeping. They sit down quetly being careful not to wake the Prince up.

"Nobuhle wants to be formally introduced to Thando" Mahlathini says to Connie.

"Ow. Alright. Will you do it?"

"Can you do it?" Connie stares at him. It's not an easy task.

"I can try"

"Thank you" he says passing her a smile. Connie gestures Thandolwami to come to her. She sits on her lap. She's confused as to what is happening.

"Do you know Sisi Nobuhle?" She nods

"She's Constance's mom" -Thando

"Yes, she also has another child, older than Constance she-" Connie takes a deep breath and looks at Mahlathini. This is not easy at all.
Mahlathini nods giving her a go ahead.
"She had to go away and she left the child behind, that's why she's here today. To apologise to the child and let her know she's her mother"

"Ok. Am I the child?" she asks looking at the three of them, none of them saw that question coming.

Connie nods "Yes, you're the child"

"I forgive her" Thando says looking at Nobuhle "Gogo told me we should forgive people who seek forgiveness no matter what they have done" Mahlathini looks at Connie.

"Thank you" Nobuhle smiles with tears in her eyes. She expected this to go South, she knows she doesn't deserve her forgiveness.

"Sis' Nobuhle needs a hug" Connie whispers to Thando. She walks over to her and gives her a hug.
