At Maphosa Attorneys .

She walks in and goes straight to her office , she opens the door and finds Kultwano sitting there .

Naledi : what are you doing in my office ?

Kutlwano : where were you ?

Naledi : I had to go somewhere but I'm back now .

Kutlwano : Langelihle Dlamini requested a meeting .

Naledi frowns .

Naledi : I don't think he's supposed to do that .

Kutlwano : well he did .

Naledi : what does he want though ?

Kutlwano : a meeting , thats what he wants ..

Naledi : (sighs) when ?

Kutlwano : tonight .

Naledi : I'm busy tonight .

Kutlwano : Naledi ... put your work forward .

Naledi : I've tried .

Kutlwano : you're gonna be meeting him alone because both of you are on this case .

Naledi : alone ?

He nods .

Kutlwano : that's what he said .

Naledi : and you agreed?

Kutlwano : he's demanding .

Naledi : wow ..

Kutlwano : just make sure you're there , I'll send you the location .

She sighs and nods , she walks to her desk and sits down .

Kutlwano : about what happened yesterday night ...

Naledi : we're in a working space , please don't talk about such matters .

Kutlwano : when are we going to talk about it ?

Naledi : I genuinely feel like I made it clear that I don't feel the same about you , what is there to discuss ?

Kutlwano : what about how I feel about you ?

Naledi : you're really ruining our friendship right now ...  we're such good friends , we've been best friends for years and I don't think you want that to end .

Kutlwano : of course I don't want it to end .

Naledi : then let's stop discussing this and talk about work instead ..

Kutlwano nods .

Naledi : so if i win this case , will you increase my salary ?

Kutlwano : you earn more that 300K a month Naledi ..

Naledi : I want to be a millionaire don't you get it ?

Kutlwano glances at her and they both burst out in laughter ...

Kutlwano : you're unbelievable .

Naledi : it's the truth .

Kutlwano : I hope you're ready to meet him .

Naledi : what is so special about this guy ! Damn ..

Kutlwano : you'll find out for yourself .

She sighs .

Naledi : go and order food for me since I didn't eat in the morning .

Kutlwano : your wish is my command my lady .

He stands up and walks out . She grabs her laptop and starts doing some work .. oh may she win the case tomorrow if the judge doesn't postpone the date though .

She jumps off the car and walks inside .. she knocked off 20 minutes ago and she's at her apartment to change before heading to meet Langelihle . She places her stuff down .. atleast her baby is coming back tomorrow . It has been so lonely without her .

She runs to the shower and strips naked .. she then begins showering ....

Once she's finished , she wraps her towel around her body and walks out of the bathroom . She walks to her bedroom and dries herself , she then lotions and wears her black tight long skirt with her white corset that has no strips and has a sweetheart neckline . She also puts on her prada sandals and ties her wig in a lower ponytail .

She checks the time , she's like an hour and half late but she doesn't care . Literally ... she finishes up and walks out holding whatever she's going to need . She walks out of the apartment and jumps in her car then drives off .

30 minutes later at the resturant .

Langelihle clicks his tongue checking the time .

Langelihle : she's late .

Simphiwe : yeah she is ... 2 hours late ?

Langelihle : she's wasting my time .

Naledi walks in and looks around ...

Simphiwe : thats her ..

Langelihle : what ?

He moves his eyes to the door ...

Langelihle : whoa ...

Simphiwe : I know .

He glances at her from head to toe , she's even more prettier in person . He didn't expect her to look this good .

Simphiwe : let me get her ..

She stands up and walks towards Naledi ..

Simphiwe : hey ?

Naledi glances at her ..

Naledi : yeah ?

Simphiwe : I'm Simphiwe Dlamini .. you're here to meet my brother .

She frowns lightly .

Naledi : oh yes ...

Simphiwe : come ..

Naledi follows her as they walk to the table Langelihle is sitting at .

Simphiwe : you can sit .

Naledi : I'm not staying for long though .

She says sitting down , Langelihle moves his eyes to his phone ..

Simphiwe : this is my brother , Langelihle Dlamini ..

Naledi moves her eyes to him as her heart skips a beat .. a brown skinned man with braided hair ? his brown chocolate eyes . Oh he's too good looking .

Langelihle : if we could just get this over and done with ..

Naledi swallows hard listening to the depth of his voice . Oh my my ...

Simphiwe : the trial is tomorrow .

Naledi : yes and ?

Simphiwe : we'd like to ask if you have any evidence ..

Naledi : am I forced to tell you if I have any evidence against your brother who's also a rapist ?

Langelihle : my brother is not a rapist .

Naledi : are you saying that because you're in denial ?

She says looking straight at him .. no matter how handsome or attractive he looks . She must remember that he is the person who's defending a rapist .

Langelihle : what evidence do you have against my brother ?

Naledi : I don't need to tell you that .

Simphiwe : will it send him to jail ?

Naledi : your brother is going to jail for a very long time .

Langelihle repositions leaning over to her face ..

Langelihle : do you think I'd allow that ?

Naledi chuckles and glances at him .

Naledi : a rapist is a rapist and he must be put behind bars .

Simphiwe : (clears throat) let's calm down .. we're not here to fight . We just wanted to know if you have a solid case .

Naledi : let me tell you one thing .. i will never step into court without any solid case or enough evidence . So I don't know what you mean by that ..

Simphiwe sighs ..

Simphiwe : Luyolo can't be a rapist .

Langelihle : he's not , and I'll prove it .

Naledi : oh is it ? Then I don't see why you even called me to this meeting honestly .

Simphiwe : Langa can you be nice for once ?

Langelihle : nice to who ? a woman who wants my brother behind bars ?

Naledi chuckles .

Naledi : I didn't ask you to be nice to me . I never wanted to be here in the first place . I'm doing my job , a job I worked day and night to accomplish and get to where I am .

Langelihle : I also worked .. I sweated .. I studied . You're not the only lawyer in this world Ms Thahane ..

Naledi : I'm the only lawyer that's gonna send your rapist of a brother to jail !

Everyone glances at their table as they keep quiet .

Simphiwe : guys ..

Naledi : is this meeting over ? I have somewhere to be .

Simphiwe : this is not how it was supposed to turn out I'm sorry .

Naledi : that's okay we'll meet at court tomorrow when I send your brother to jail .

Langelihle : that'll happen in your dreams .

Naledi : my dream is in that court room .

She glances at him with a deadly stare .

Naledi : you don't scare me .

She stands up and walks out .. Simphiwe sighs and glances at Langa who's pissed .

Simphiwe : that was not part of the plan .

Langelihle : she's disrespectful and rude !

Simphiwe : because you acted like that to her !

Langelihle : we have to go .. I won't let this woman take my brother to jail ...

Simphiwe : what if ..

Langelihle : what if ??

Simphiwe : what if we make the evidence disappear ?

Langelihle glances at her and nods multiple times .

Langelihle : you have a point .

Simphiwe : the last thing I want is to see Luyolo suffering in jail . We need him home .

He nods lightly getting lost in his thoughts .. if he does this then Luyolo will get released from jail and come back home . Naledi's career will be affected also ..
