The Gcabashe Empire

CHAPTER 4

Nkosazana Gcabashe

likhona came to my house around 2 am, drunk as hell, i don't know what tf does he wants because he broke up with me all because im refusing to give him a kid... lol who dares to give someone who's openly a fuck boy a baby? well that ain't me ofc.

i pat his shoulder waking him up from the couch he slept on, he groaned turning over instead of waking up. wait, did i send him to have fun with his friends? i don't remember doing that so he better not do what he's trying to do.

me: weeh likhona! likhona vuka mahn!

he groaned opening his one eye and smiled.

likhona: morning beautiful.
me: i need to go to work, get up.
likhona: you can leave for work baby, i don't mind staying alone.
me: don't call me that, we broke up! get up likhona, i need to leave.
likhona: zana kanti what's wrong with you? im tired and a good sleep would do right now.
me: you seem to forget that this is my house, you didn't contribute a penny for me to get this house.
likhona: i know kodwa you should've not opened for me then if you didn't want me in your house.
me: well.... well... fine! but when i come back, i wanna find you gone! heard me?
likhona: mmh.

he said with his eyes closed, he's still the same fine guy that drove me crazy when i was still eleven years old but now.... now he keeps hurting me, i never thought he would wait for me to reach 18 and still go on with cheating.

likhona: i thought you were getting late for work.
me: i... i am...
likhona: then why are you still here drooling over a sleeping man?
me: mxm fuck off.
likhona: weeh nkosazana i warned you not to use such language with me, wanna get punished?
me: we no longer dating so what punishment are you referring to?

he chuckled as i walked out, im a dentist btw.

Nkosinhle Gcabashe

i yawned walking down the stairs, i was planning to go back to that restaurant but it might not be her duty day so i asked malume sanele to do some digging on her since he's good in tracking peeps.

fuck im hella tired, remind me to never drink with those fuck boys again. i poured myself a glass of coke and gulped it down but it couldn't help.

i heard my gate opening, it could never be anyone other than my father. ohh no it's his wife, didn't she go to work? she let herself in as i continued drinking my cold drink.

kea: sinhle.
me: mother.
kea: unjani?
me: ngi'right, wena? kanti didn't you go to work?
kea: it's break time so i thought i should pop up here and talk to you.
me: regarding?

i said gulping my coke with a frown on my forehead.

kea: The Gcabashe Empire, why are you refusing to take over?
me: ma ngi khulumile no baba about this, i clearly told him that i won't take any of his businesses if he's gonna exclude zana from them.
kea: im the one who told him not to do that.
me: ngobani ma? she's part of the family as well, why are you doing that to her?
kea: please try to understand sinhle, im protecting her and her future.
me: she can protect herself ma, you trained her or did you do that for nothing?
kea: no but.... i was training her in case my enemies get to her.
me: either way im not gonna take those businesses if she's excluded.... if you don't mind, im tired and a good sleep is needed so excuse me.
kea: nkosinhle...

i shook my head walking out. they're really being unfair and it doesn't really sit well with me.

***
later on i got up feeling much better, i took a good long shower and wore my warm casual clothes which is just a black tight vest with
sweater pants. i don't work out like nkosenye does but i do have a manly arms, well i have a well-built body.

a message came through with every detail of pearl, apparently she loves using her second name. her first name is simamkele, a xhosa woman.... i smiled upon seeing that she doesn't have any kids, less problems.

i threw on my long sleeved shirt and sliders walking out to my car, i drove off after locking heading straight to the hospital she works at only to find her knocking off. she was wearing her waitress work outfit, I thought she only works on day offs.

i reversed driving off to the direction she was standing, i lowered the window still facing straight.... fuck why is she making me this nervous? i met few girls and fucked some but they never made me feel this way.

i tilted my head looking at her, she cleared her throat facing aside.

me: a ride?
pearl: no sir thank you.

she said in her sweet voice, i smirked checking time on my wrist and faced her.

me: you could be running late, your ride might get you late at work.
pearl: no i...
me: get in the car pearl.

i said in a stern voice facing straight, she bit her nails getting in the backseat... i chuckled to that.

me: passenger seat?
pearl: please drive off, your wife should be the one sitting in there not me.
me: i don't have a wife.

she just kept quiet, i smirked driving off. at least she didn't refuse to get in the car, one step at the time... this one is mine. we arrived at the restaurant she works at, i looked at her through the review mirror.

pearl: i don't understand why would you give me a ride after what you did yesterday but thank you.
me: we could talk about that, over dinner?
pearl: im a married woman.
me: so?
pearl: i don't do dates with other guys.
me: who said anything about "dates"? i said "dinner" sweetheart not a date.
pearl: still i can't.... please unlock the door.
me: when are you free?
pearl: im never free.

i smirked, she faced down fiddling with her hands.

pearl: please unlock the door.

i nodded unlocking the door, she thanked me stepping out of the car.

Nkosenye Gcabashe

i arrived at nkosazana's place and found her with likhona, what is he doing here? i thought they broke up.

me: hey buddy.... zana.
likhona: bafo please talk to your twin sister, she's refusing to get back together with me.
nkosazana: why would i do that vele after you insulted me like that?
likhona: i was drunk, i said im sorry nkosazana.
nkosazana: just leave bruh.... i have things to do.
me: yeah you can come over some other time, i need to talk to her.
likhona: im going nowhere, i'll give you some space by going upstairs to our bedroom.
nkosazana: you can be annoying, do you know that?

lee just walked upstairs, i kept my eyes on the annoyed nkosazana who kept clicking her tongue.

nkosazana: you better talk to your best friend nkosi, im tired of him.
me: i will.... he's ruining my chances as well so i have to get rid of him.
nkosazana: what chances?
me: chances of me getting you.
nkosazana: here we go again! nkosi are you insane?
me: over you? yes.

she shook her head heading to the kitchen.

me: a dinner would do dear wife.
nkosazana: fuck you!

to be continued.
