The proposal: Part 1

“So, bro, do you really want to do this? You can only die once,” JB says to Simo as they are leaning on his car in the driveway overlooking the big green lawn at Lee-Ann's home. It is Lee-Ann’s parents 30th anniversary. There is a lot of people who have come to celebrate this day with this family, most are family and family friends. There is a bit of a noise of music on the lawn, people are dancing and having a good time. Simo, Mlu and JB are standing in the driveway, feeling rather uneasy, being the only black people here in this neighbourhood.
