#241 THE PROFESSOR
THE PROFESSOR
by Unknown
The game/ scheme is called The Professor’s prey and the rules are simple. At the beginning of each university/ college year, the participants would each pick one student as their prey. The participants must be with the same prey for one semester, unless he clears all stages of the game early. The stages of the game are places scattered throughout university and college campuses. There are eight in total: any lecture room, office,  the gym, the auditorium, the parking lot, the clinic, the library and the participant’s house. The objective is to have sex with the prey in at least six areas. In order to prove that a level has been cleared, a fibre optic lens camera is connected in a special spot located in each stage. Whoever clears the six stages first receives a thousand dollars (R18 639.04 South African rand) from every losing participant. Rumour has it that this is practised in various universities and colleges across the world. The game has been in practice for the last 4 years with one Professor Muller being the brainchild and winner of the first and second year. The third and fourth year was won by Professor Kenneth McGonigle from the Mathematics and Science department. Players register themselves once a year at the beginning of each term. They must sign up for an account on the game’s website, where they will each deposit a thousand dollars to a bank account. Players progress is monitored via email with a password protected encryption to watch captured videos online. All videos have a 24- hour shelf-life before being permanently deleted from the website. The nice thing about this website is that you cannot save, download or screen record any of the content uploaded on the site for the safety and privacy of the preys. If a player decides to withdraw from the game, he is penalised another thousand dollars for the remaining participants to share. The rest of the earnings are received by the winner at the end of the game, and the site goes offline until the following year.

But behind her seductive smile and glamorous exhibitions, madness coils like a serpent. Reality slips through her fingers. Nightmares become instructions. And the world she presents to the public is only a carefully staged performance hiding crimes too grotesque to imagine. As Ntombenhle’s fame rises, so does the body count — and her mind fractures further into a labyrinth of hallucinations, rituals, and forbidden desires. How far will she go to create the perfect piece? How long before her worshippers realize the goddess they adore is dangerously, beautifully unhinged? Take a minute and enjoy this psychological thriller where art, obsession, and death are all just different shades of the same fever dream.
